Whoa! eBay has gone crazy with the tsunami cricket charity! Scott Wickstein reports:
Someone has bid $10 MILLION DOLLARS for Warnie’s shirt. If this gets paid, it’s an awesome effort. Do you think it is Kerry Packer?
UPDATE – Now the big boys are sending Ricky Ponting’s shirt up. $150,000 is actually peanuts compared to Warnie’s $10 million, but its still a lot of money to peons like me.
The $10 million bid—and another for $16 million—turned out to be bogus, natch. Still, apparently genuine offers remain fantastically high; here’s the current bidding for signed match shirts:
Ricky Ponting: $150,100.00
Shane Warne: $143,500.00
Sachin Tendulkar: $11,600.00
Adam Gilchrist: $10,600.00
Brian Lara: $10,600.00
Glenn McGrath: $8,600.00
Matthew Hayden: $7,800.00
Chris Gayle: $7,100.00
Chris Cairns: $7,100.00
Muttiah Muralitharan: $6,600.00
Daniel Vettori: $6,100.00
Darren Gough: $5,300.00
Dwayne Bravo: $5,050.50
Sourav Ganguly: $4,550.00
Stephen Fleming: $4,350.00
Rahul Dravid: $4,250.00
Virender Sehwag: $4,250.00
Anil Kumble $3,800.00
