Following the February murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, Robert Fisk wondered: “Would the Syrians dream of doing anything so crude and vicious as this?”
Following this week’s murder of Lebanese journalist Samir Kassir, certain doubts appear to have been lifted from Fisk’s mind.
