Mark Steyn interviewed pod-style by Shire Network News; click also for Steyn’s review of Little Mosque On The Prairie.

UPDATE. Don’t miss Steyn on goreball worming:

“The science is solid,” says Louise Frechette, deputy secretary-general of the United Nations.

“The science is solid,” says Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

“The science is really solid,” says TV meteorologist Heidi Cullen. “The science is very solid” …

Indeed. If the science is so solid, maybe they could drag it out to the Arctic for the poor polar bears to live on now that the ice is melting faster than a coed’s heart at an Al Gore lecture.

    1. Is this is a new podcasting thingie, or is it some established Brit* show that somehow manages not to have anti-US tint?

*- I assume. It’s one of those tween accents I can’t tell about.

    1. I’m still listening but I’ve found one thing to disagree with Mr. Steyn.

He says the UK will fall. I don’t believe that’s possible. Even if the people of the UK fail to stand up in time or with sufficient force, those born from the UK (nearly the rest of the functional parts of the world) will come ‘home for a visit’ and do what’s got to be done.

    1. I can’t remember. Which is melting, the ice or the science?

    1. Personally, I don’t question the science, I question people’s comprehension of the science.

    1. #2, Grimmy, is that like if all the people in China jumped at the same time, the earth would shake?

      It’s -2 (F) in Chicago today.  I blame Bush.

    1. Humor unites all cultures.  “Slaughter is the best medicine.’’

Really?  Hillary? The Canadian left?  Bryla?

    1. “The science is solid”, spoken by three who are clearly totally ignorant of science.

      Neither.  Their brains are melting.

Is that the same as ‘gerbil worming’ ?

    1. #1 mencken cynic SNN is an absolute gold mine of pod casts. The regular contributers come from all over the anglosphere, and there are great interviews in the archives if you look.

Andrew Bolt, Walid Phares, Robert Spencer, Sand Monkey… go check it out.

I can’t recommend it highly enough.

    1. Steyn is on the money with “muslim is the new gay”.

Oh and Grimmy, I hope you’re right. If the mother of the free goes under, then her descendants should be ashamed of themselves.

    1. #12 “muslim is the new gay”

Gay is the new stupid. When my kids and their friends say something or someone is “gay” they mean “wrong, makes no sense, bad look, no brains” etc etc. Ask anyone under 25yo.
