RELIGION SPREAD BY USUAL MEANS

Dissent crushed in Somalia:

Islamist fighters in the Somali port of Kismayo opened fire overnight on residents who were burning tyres, throwing stones and chanting to protest against the Islamist takeover of the city hours earlier.

A 13-year-old boy was shot dead while protesting, and two other people were injured as violence raged for several hours in Somalia’s third biggest city.

“We have been taken over by extremists, the Islamic courts have taken us by force, and now they are firing at us,” protester Dahabo Dirie said.

Please, Dahabo. Consider the root causes.

UPDATE. In other religious developments:

A car dealership in Ohio has decided not to run a commercial proclaiming a “jihad” on the U.S. auto market, a Muslim activist group said on Monday.

The Ohio Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations released a letter from the dealership offering an apology and saying the radio ad, which had never been aired, was a misguided attempt at humor.

UPDATE II. Hey, Somalia! Remember to support your local caliphate!

UPDATE III. Paqo ibn Yussef, president of Peaceful Arabs Crying Out (Sword Of Vengeance Chapter):

My dear Mr. Blair:

It is my sincere wishing that you are not being accusing Muslims of being violent peoples. Certainly by now you must know that nothing makes the burnoose ride up, causing the uncomfortable and undignified wedgie, like being told, “Hey, you Muslims! Stop with the church burnings and the killings and the ululatings already!” There is old Arab saying: If you rub the camel’s fur the wrong way, do not be surprised if he blows up your pizzarias and burns down your churches and chops your head off and sends the video to al-Jazeera.

We must be working together, Mr. Blair, to make the peace, and the first step is to stop saying the hurtful things about the Muslims. A small donation to our organization, Peaceful Arabs Crying Out, will be helping us all to the mutual understandings.

Peace Be on You,

Paqo ibn Yussef

Islamists in fact have come to serve as an enforcement arm of the mainstream media, which was as mocked by the ad as anybody.

Early reports of the ad suggested it had already been apologised for, so obvious was it as out of line with the template.

Interested in why Mr. “I did more than anybody” Clinton failed to fix that, or any other, problem having to do with terrorism?  Check out this article by Amir Taheri in a March 5, 2005 article in the Arab News.  I mean to point to a reason other than the most obvious one, of course.  That he is a bastard covers a lot.

Here’s my take on Islam –
      1.  The mohman was an arab pagan
      2.  He would have had rudimentary knowledge of Christianity and Judaism, but not an expert on their teachings.
      3.  He would have seen what a powerful hold a religion of one God with an afterlife had over the minds of people.
      4.  He took his rudimentary and incorrect bits of knowledge from Christianity and Judaism
      5.  He added arab paganism
      6.  He then had a religion to control the people to implement his aims
      7.  He died, and his religion was left in the hands of arab pagans to do with what they wanted, or could kill over
      8.  They knew what was new was crap, and could be dismantled by reasoned argument, so they enforce a no discussion rule.

Yep, nothing new but what was evil, inhumane, unreasonable and illogical.  And they expect us to embrace their ideology as equal, no way.

Saudi Arabia uses public beheading as the punishment for murder, rape, drug trafficking, sodomy, armed robbery, apostasy and certain other offences. The execution takes place on a piece of blue plastic. The act of separation by a metre long scimitar makes the head fly off and land about 3 feet away. It is duly collected, sewn back onto the still bleeding corpse by a doctor, and the whole lot then rolled up in the plastic and carted away for an inglorious burial.

Did you get that Grandma? Drugs and sodomy -you could kiss goodbye to half that lot you’re demonstrating with.

See, the problem is, the auto dealership needs to combine the two.  They should dress up their salesmen in bed sheets and towels and equip them with fake swords and AK47’s.  When prospective purchasers of cars are hesitating on a purchase, they can bring in the mob of “faux Muslims” who can then shout out that resisting the purchase of a new 3000GT was an insult to Islam.  They should include a lot of brandishing of weapons and ululating.  Then they can finish with a Gilbert and Sullivan song.

They obviously need a Joooo to produce this.

Shockingly, as it turns out, the followers of the “religion of peace” aren’t too tolerant of the followers of another religion of peace. Who’d have guessed, eh? A quote from the article:

…the members of the Bahá’í community in Iran have been subjected to unwarranted arrests, false imprisonment, beatings, torture, unjustified executions, confiscation and destruction of property owned by individuals and the Bahá’í community, denial of employment, denial of government benefits, denial of civil rights and liberties, and denial of access to higher education.

    1. #10, Spyder – that is EXACTLY what happened.  Allah was one of three stone idols that the pagans bickered about who was the strongest.  Mohammed saw that the Jews and Christians were united by One God – and so he destroyed the two female idols and declared there was only “one god” and he was it’s prophet which in reality was only an idol. Mo’s “revelations” were a way to legitimize his own aspirations for power and riches and he made it up as he went along to suit whatever he wanted to personally gain from it borrowing religious figures from Judaism and Christianity.

And the reason muslims are forbidden to question islam is because the founders knew that if it was discussed rationally and truthfully it would be debunked.  That is why it has been forced on brainwashed people who are forbidden to question what their imams tell them, and why apostasy is punishable by death.

The very young ladies in skimpy clothing and painted faces ought to take a good look at their Muslims sisters, not one of whom is smiling.  They also ought to check out the truly scary older women.  One or the other is their future, if they don’t change their ways.

They also have no prospects among the men, and I use the term “men” loosely.  I haven’t seen such a scurvy looking bunch since the 60’s/70’s.

I see they had the obligatory Buddhist monk-type drummer, always a plus at an anti-war rally.

Not here, it is completely understandable.

There is a mental switch that has to be flipped when a western country goes to war.  For America in WWII it got flipped for the doggies after the North African campaign, and the jarheads at Guadalcanal.

Americans are not by nature bloody minded, and it requires a force of will sometimes to do what is necessary.

Recall the ‘bush vets’ from Vietnam who couldn’t switch back and had to isolate themselves.

Recall the French who only won in Algeria after the switch was flipped by the troops…but lost that country when their non-bloody-minded countrymen found out exactly how they won.

You have to have a bloody mindset to fight barbarians…otherwise eventually you will lose.

    1. Kyda,

I agree that George Bush Senior ordered the troops into Somalia in December, 1992.  This was after the election and prior to Bill Clinton’s taking over as President.  I disagreed with the decision at the time, thinking that it’s Bill Clinton’s decision to make.  But I understood why Bush decided as he did because of the humanitarian crisis.

What I disagree with is that he tried to fix Somalia.  His decision to not send over armor (tanks, Bradleys) is part of the cause of Blackhawk Down.  It led to Les Aspin’s resignation.

And, of course, Clinton opted to cut and run.  That’s the Democrats’ answer to any defense problem.  In turn, this has contributed, at least in part, to 9/11.

Check this one out Islamic Britain…

      BRITISH CEMETERIES GOING MUSLIM

A new cemetery is to have all its graves aligned with Mecca – making it the first council graveyard in the country to bury the dead in Islamic tradition, regardless of their religion. Headstones in the new 2.5 million pound High Wood Cemetery in Nottingham will face north-east – as Muslims believe the dead look over their shoulder towards Mecca. This is the way in which all followers of Islam in the UK are buried. But the move has upset the Church and led to complaints that the policy discriminates against the city’s majority Christian population.
