Aside from this Miranda Devine column, New Zealand’s Kyoto Katastrophe has received little local notice; as well, pundits who once wouldn’t quit talking Kyoto up have lately gone strangely quiet on the subject. Former Labor MP Bob Catley mentions the Forbidden Protocol briefly today:
By signing the rotten Kyoto agreement, Helen Clark’s Government incurred a bill of about a billion dollars.
And they thought they’d actually make money.
Well, I can cut Helen Clark a better deal. Send me a million bucks (in small bills, with no sequential serial numbers), and I’ll sign off on their fulfillment of the Kyoto Protocols. I’ll just borrow The Official Halliburton Seal, use purple ink, and she’ll be off the hook with her fellow Kiwis.

Where are the passionate Aussie advocates of Kyoto? You know the ones who told us how ‘stupid’ and short sighted John Howard and George Bush are. Bob Brown, Peter Garrett etc in the words of one formerly famous Australian ‘please explain’?

Just goes to show that you shouldn’t leave the Enviro Nazi’s in charge of the untermenschen’s marks.
