Not sure how multiculturalism works? Let Kofi Annan explain:

The offensive caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad were first published in a European country which has recently acquired a significant Muslim population, and is not yet sure how to adjust to it.

    1. Uhhh – Koffee, you’d better hope Europe doesn’t “adjust” to a population among them they’ve decided they don’t want.  They’ve had some experience with doing exactly that in the recent past – and it wasn’t pretty.

      Just sayin’, ‘s all.

    1. Kofee and the Danes need a Peter Costello:  if you don’t like free love, high taxes, and bitter cold then you might be better off in Iran or Saudi Arabia.

In today’s The Age John Howard advises Muslims on dress appropriate for Australia:

“I don’t mind the headscarf but it’s really the whole outfit, I think most Australians would find it confronting,” Mr Howard told Southern Cross Broadcasting…

“I don’t believe that you should ban wearing headscarfs but I do think the full garb is confronting and that is how most people feel.

“Now, that is not meant disrespectfully to Muslims because most Muslim women, a great majority of them in Australia, don’t even wear headscarfs and very few of them wear the full garb.”

I don’t see the full garb all that often in Melbourne – occasionally around Preston and also Flemington, where Sudanese Muslims (refugees) sometimes wear it. The men always have headgear as well.

And finally a couple of prescient extracts –

Those whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad.  We must be mad, literally mad, as a nation to be permitting the annual inflow of some 50,000 dependants, who are for the most part the material of the future growth of the immigrant-descended population.  It is like watching a nation busily engaged in heaping up its own funeral pyre.  So insane are we that we actually permit unmarried persons to immigrate for the purpose of founding a family with spouses and fiancés whom they have never seen.  Let no one suppose that the flow of dependants will automatically tail off…

The other dangerous delusion from which those who are wilfully or otherwise blind to realities suffer, is summed up in the word “integration”.  To be integrated into a population means to become for all practical purposes indistinguishable from its other members.  Now, at all times, where there are marked physical differences, especially of colour, integration is difficult though, over a period, not impossible.  There are among the Commonwealth immigrants who have come to live here in the last 15 years many thousands whose wish and purpose is to be integrated and whose every thought and endeavour is bent in that direction.  But to imagine that such a thing enters the heads of a great and growing majority of immigrants and their descendants is a ludicrous misconception, and a dangerous one…

“The (ethnic grouping) communities’ campaign to maintain customs inappropriate in Britain is much to be regretted.  Working in Britain, particularly in the public services, they should be prepared to accept the terms and conditions of their employment.  To claim special communal rights (or should they say rites?) leads to a dangerous fragmentation within society.  This communalism is a canker;  whether practised by one colour or another it is to be strongly condemned.”

As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding;  like the Roman, I seem to see “the River Tiber foaming with much blood”.  That tragic and intractable phenomenon which we watch with horror on the other side of the Atlantic but which there is interwoven with the history and existence of the States itself, is coming upon us here by our own volition and our own neglect.

No prizes for guessing who the author was – and he was vilified and all but destroyed for this piece. But he was right, dead right, 38 years ago.

And as usual with these sort of groups, Kofi points out, “We need to develop a language that will carry them (lofty ideals)”. No doubt in constructing this language they will borrow heavily from the current race relations industry’s lexicon. Not English, French or Urdu mind you, they need to construct a new one. Should be a nice little earner for whoever has to do it. Perhaps they should do it in Danish.

I don’t think masturbation is a factor, but the extremists definitely have a psycho-sexual disorder of some kind.  The male psyche can get out of control unless it’s grounded, usually by a female psyche (or by an adult male framework, as you find in a regular professional army).  Left to themselves young men are vulnerable to all sorts of dangerous manipulation.

As mentioned in The Clash of Civilizations one of a nation’s most important duties is to figure out what to do with its young men.  In this endeavor many nations in the Middle East have failed miserably, leaving their young men vulnerable to control by rougue Imams and other terrorists.

    1. The Arab League on Monday described the Prophet Mohammed cartoons as part of a “battle against Islam” rather than a symptom of conflict among civilisations, and urged Arab parliamentarians to put pressure on the UN to come up with a “strict solution to the problem”.

“I don’t think the issue pertains to inter-civilisation conflict. We have to mention the issue in its real perspective, it is a battle against Islam,” Arab League Secretary General Amr Musa said. urge you to send a message to the UN that it should address this issue in a strict manner so that we can deal with each other on issues that exclude double standards,” he said.

    1. I tried to tell Karl putting Kofi at the UN was a bad idea, but there’s no arguing with the Boss.  I don’t know what he was thinking. Well, sometimes I do because I steal glances at his working papers while I’m dusting.  You guys would be amazed at what is on the docket.  At the risk of getting in serious trouble (looks around furtively) well there’s the plan to fill the Grand Canyon with all the empty water bottles for one.  When I say serious trouble, well last time it was just a book report on Milton Friedman.  But the time before that I had to write “Karl Marx is a flatulating butthead” on the board a thousand times with Hayek’s “Road to Serfdom” duct taped to my forehead.  I mean, you guys have it easy over in the Death Cult “military wing”.  Polishing helicopters.  Pshaw.  You should try a couple days in the political wing sometime.  Oops. Gotta go… (sneaks off)

    1. I’ve not been adjusted yet and was wondering what to do. With all the libs demanding that I submit my democratic ideas to pander to the Islamic minority I was wondering if anyone could tell me how do I submit?

Do I continue to vote Labor, or what?

      Looking forward to being ‘adjusted’.

    1. @72 Start up your own religion, and own political party (Tim’s Dancy religion you worship 6 times a day and you have the sheep throwing at the Eifel tower once a year religion) and then re-educate your children how your culture should be rather than being groomed for working in a political correct environment and contrary to the current cultural marxist politcal British model.
So start up your own religion get a grant and feel the Power…

    1. My first rule of adjustment (bear with me, I’m still learning):

Never kiss a Muslim’s arse while he is praying.

    1. Definitions of theocratic totalitarianism

A political system in which political power is monopolized by a party, group, or individual that governs according to religious principles.

Obviously, the mass migrant Islamic intake hasn’t realised freedom of speech and psychological deprogramming hasn’t come into effect in detentions centres here as of yet.
