Poverty doesn’t merely lead to terrorism. It also causes kidnapping and truck theft:
Samuel Scott Jones, 32, of Dallas, is charged with aggravated kidnapping and assault after, police said, he led them through a three-hour chase through three counties that ended in an hour-long standoff.
Scott said he committed the crime because he was frustrated by poverty plaguing the black community.
“I felt like maybe this will wake up people,” he said.

- If this idiot ever joins the panthers or something it will be a case of Blair’s law…Posted by The_Wizard_of_WOZ on 2006 07 29 at 04:27 AM • permalink
- Several years ago, a guy the cops were chasing drove into the parking lot for those who have boats moored in the harbor, jumped out his car, ran down the dock and straight into the bay. By the time the Harbor Police had pulled his sorry behind out of the water, the reporters were there with the cameras rolling. When asked why he ran from the police and jumped into the water, he said that he was having a bad hair day. It sounded about as plausible as this yahoo’s explanation.
- Let him get off his lazy arse and work. Poverty plaguing the black community? How can a community be poor when its kids wear the latest and most expensive sneakers by some sports type like Lebron James (?)? The answer to poverty is work, even if it’s a job at Mickey D’s, it’s some place to start. Lazy SOB.
