Michael Totten has a big set of balls.

I despise Will Collier. He has looks to kill for, much like my son…had I had the same looks, I would have died at 40….screwing a gorgeous babe…about 25 years of age with big tits….for the 20th time, that day.

    1. Bilious Young Fogey sez:

The crowning evil about this movie is its valorisation of terrorism. The film is French-Maoist in its arrogant, elitist espousal of the frisson of the act of violence. It is fitting that the last scene is of a new uniformed army, the followers of V, watching the destruction of the Houses of Parliament.
This film is decadent and offensive.

      Gosh!  I liked it!

A operative for the democrats (U.S.) was nailed passing classified material (it may have been a sting op, just to snag her ass)….gee, do ya think the bitch…she was out to damage GWB?

      CIA Officer Sacked For Leaking

Public records show that Ms. McCarthy contributed $2,000 in 2004 to the presidential campaign of John Kerry, the Democratic nominee.

Not only that, the bitch…she worked for Mr Stuffed Pants, Sandy Berger.

But wait, there’s more! What other political connections does McCarthy have?

Plame suggested his name; but a higher-up at the CIA actually sent him.

      Who?

Now, McCarthy has links to general-turned-Rumsfeld-resignation-demander Anthony Zinni. And Sandy Berger. And, of course, Richard Clarke.

Would you believe she was also on the NSC during the same period, and with the same portfolio (Africa) as… JOE F’N’ WILSON?

It doesn’t take a conspiracy theorist to see the vague outlines of a conspiracy here…

      Curiouser and curiouser.

Say it ain’t so…sandbagging, plotting, breaking law, putting the reputation and safety of our country at stake by, BY…leftwing democrats?

Hopefully, Porter Goss got the last laugh…if this in fact, WAS a sting.

BUT will it be reported?, OR will the ’entrapment‘ of the sting, be the only thing reported?

    1. As usual, loved the Al-Zarqawi take-off by Iowahawk (the most brilliant satirist in the blogosphere – or anywhere else, for that matter). Did anyone click on his link to Peter McLaren, an “Oppressor” in the Urban Studies Dept. at UCLA? This parlor revolutionary’s mission statement starts out with, “This website is developed as a resource for students of critical pedagogy. The critical pedagogy which I support and practice advocates non-violent dissent, the development of a philosophy of praxis guided by a Marxist humanism . . .” – at this point I dozed off and my head pitched forward into a jug of water. Yeah, there are the inevitable pictures of Guevara (now smoking Swisher Sweets in hell, I hope). I also note that the Prof is currently on sabbatical (bit of luck for the student body); but being a peace-lovin’, non-violent, tamborine-bangin’ type of activist, I don’t suppose he’s actually in any danger of facing the consequences of his treason.

    1. El Cid,

If this is all an elaborate sting operation, it would be hilarious indeed. I doubt it is that complicated, though.

As in all large organizations, there are likely to be a number of individuals with their own agendas. In this case, as Ace suggests, a group of like-minded individuals are working with an eager and compliant press to get their version of events to the public. They are using unconventional channels because it is very much a minority viewpoint within the organization, but gets lots of positive press because it is one that supports the views of George Bush’s critics.

    1. About the segway:
http://www.whackingday.com/permarch_apr06/18apr06.htm#seg]this line[/url] Naturally, this work of innovative technoloigcal genius required a support team to complete the journey.
Exactly. That adds a whole logistical element to it. We’re changing a battery every hour or so when we’re on the road. And we need to have a place to charge 15 batteries every night…We’ve got a Jeep Cherokee that follows me with all our film gear and Segway gear.
Heh, how practical and environmentally friendly! I guess these guys have never heard of an earlier invention known as the ‘bicycle’.
I’d hate to be one of the venture capitalists who sunk their money into this lump of crap.
And to think, the inventors actually believed that cities of the future would be designed around this stupid machine.

I always loved the Harvard Business Review story about
When Steve Jobs (PBOM) and Jeff Bezos were asked to comment on a protoype Segway and their business model:

It would indeed be a smashing mousetrap and with Goss being a long timer at CIA, he’s probably capable of pulling one off. If, IF true…God what a lead up to ‘06 elections.

    1. 1.  Yay, Puce is alive!

      2.  Hey now, Waterton, have respect for the Queen.  She’s a dead ringer for my late mother.  And my late grandmother.  Neither of whom looked anything like Reagan.  I always knew I was descended from royalty, though.

      3.  My family and I chatted with a young Disney employee who used a Segway to get from one show to another across Epcot.  He said the main problem with it was to keep from running over tourists who can’t hear it coming.  But it has to be charged up so often, I can’t imagine anybody dumb enough to try and cross the country with it.

      4.  Looks like the Palestinians are starting to turn on each other, as predicted.  Damn shame.

    1. The Segway stunt —

I was staying at a motel in Pennsylvania when those folks came through. They wouldn’t talk to me about it, but the conversation over the morning doughnuts was priceless, essence of Watermelon so thick the cleaners probably gagged.

And I can tell you as a witness, the Jeep Cherokee was the least of it. They had a whole fleet of cars following the guy, including a duallie pickup towing a big gooseneck trailer at probably 4 mpg. (That’s about 60 or 70 liters per 100 km, for you Europeans.) When I saw them they also had another pickup, a long wheelbase Chevy, with a camera mounted in the back for the required action shots. That one probably got 12, even 15 mpg.

At that they were better than the SunRaycer folks, who had enough Suburbans following them around to make it hard to distinguish between them and a Mexican political party.

      Regards,
      Ric
