    1. Curses, my patented “Syria Away” aerosol that just went into production is now worthless.

    1. Well, not quite. The Syrian military may have been redeployed, but some 800,000 Syrian civilians remain. What’s gonna happen when they complain that they’re being oppressed by the native Lebanese?

    1. They’ll be told to go home, I hope.

BTW – A friend told me that NPR had some patter yesterday about how the Lebanese economy will suffer now that the Syrians are gone and businessmen ask where are their new customers coming from?

You have to give the lefties their due, they are creative critters and can always turn a smile into a frown.

    1. No doubt the place is still infested with Syrian spies.  That “Syria Away” aerosol might just come in handy after all.

    1. Does Syria have a broder with a country that recently held elections for the first time?

      Is this a coincindence?

  1. The Syrian occupation of Lebanon claimed another casualty today. Unnamed sources say a reporter broke his noise when the Syrian tank he had been chasing suddenly stopped for cross traffic.  Witnesses report that the journalist, Robert Fisk, apparently was blinded by his own tears and could not hear their warnings over his own shrill cries of “Come back! Come back!”
