“Let’s admit it,” writes Greg Barns. “Australia has become a pigsty.” Mr. Barns—click here and here for a little background—wishes us to be “more like Canada, a nation that embraces civil rights and tolerance, with political leaders who stand up to racism and nastiness; a nation that sees its role in the world as an independent nation and which is not frightened to stand up and be counted in the global fight for a fairer world.”

Tell Ted Nolan about it, Greg. In NYC, Margaret Kimberley is also furious about Australian racism:

A rumor that Arabs had punched a white lifeguard in the nose sent the laid back white Aussies into a frenzy.

Some rumor. Margaret concludes:

Australia may be far away physically, but it seems to have too much in common with the United States. Both countries affirm that their forebears had a right to kill and destroy. Both countries have political leaders who accentuate the worst aspect of their nations’ histories. The people produced by those histories are never as good as they claim to be.

Whatever that’s supposed to mean. By contrast, here’s some interesting comment from someone who was actually at the riot and doesn’t seem to be stupid.

    1. Australia should be “more like Canada”? C’mon, Greg, can you picture Ozzie cops wearing those corny Smokey the Bear hats, and ending every sentence with the inquisitive monosyllable, “eh?”.

And Maggie, the reason our countries “affirm that their forebears had a right to kill and destroy” is because our forebears were really BEARS, and you know how cranky they can be.

    1. Been meaning to get an account here for a while.

Much thanks for the Timalanche, but the livejournal is just a mirror for my real blog. Any chance you could change the link on my Cronulla post to the one on my real blog? That will make it easier for people to comment if they wish, because they won’t have to get a livejournal account.

      Thanks again, Korgmeister.

    1. “The rioters, who I previously thought were locals trying to take back the beach, really were a bunch of racist thugs just as bad as the Lebanese.”

The Cronulla locals would have had to have rioted for around… oh… another 15 years before they caught up to the Lebanese gangs, who have been making cowardly, predatory attacks in Sutherland Shire and on the Sydney rail network for at least that long.

No one was stabbed at Cronulla. No one required a spell in the hospital. The only people with knives sticking out of their backs were white Australians who were the victims of racist, cowardly Lebanese who trolled the streets in their crappy little rice burners, looking for targets whom they outnumbered 10 to 1.

The people protesting at Cronulla were their victims before the riots and their victims after the riots. The media only has eyes for the Cronulla riot, because they knew goddamned well that if they sent any of their camera assets into the Lakemba Mosque “protest” they’d have been killed.

The media can go fuck themselves. Let’s grab some of these leftist journalists and drop them off on a quiet street in Lakemba on a Saturday night. Let them experience firsthand the anti-white racism that doesn’t exist.

    1. Funny that when Muslims rioted over rumors that Americans had flushed Korans down a toilet, the chattering classes immediately found the rioting understandable.

    1. Mike Jericho, the point I was making is that from what I have heard, the Cronulla locals had little to nothing to do with the riots. After hearing about this, I wanted to correct the unfair portrayal of Shire residents as being a bunch of racists.

I assure you, I am by no means an apologist for the Lebanese gangs, a cursory examination of my other writings on the Cronulla situation on my website will make that abundantly clear.

But yes, you are right that the media had no interest in the nonviolent protest by locals against racist attacks against lifesafers. But when a bunch of out-of-town white supremacists start causing trouble, all of a sudden the Shire is bristling with cameras.

But it should be no surprise to anyone here that the media are not our friends in this situation. Their dogged attempt to portray any enforcement of the law on any non-white Australians as being police racism has alot to do with why this situation got out of hand in the first place. The beat cops are kept from being able to do their jobs because the higher-ups are scared of being slandered by the press.

PS: Thank you very much for changing the link, Tim 🙂

    1. White Canada is being hoisted on its own petard by the “First Nation,” a.k.a. the indiginous population.  Guess what?  A lot of First Nation folks are not too happy with the Canadian government.  There’s a small matter of land theft,  ownership of natural resources, genocidal government policies (for years, Indian children were taken away from their parents and raised a “boarding schools” in an attempt to destroy their language and culture) and compensation/reparations.  First Nation folks have the highest rate of illegitimacy, alcoholism and drug addiction among any group in Canada.  Almost everything the Canadian governnment has done to “improve” the situation has caused further harm.  The main tactic is throwing money, very little of which actually makes it down to individual Indians.

A lot of Canadians are reallly great, normal people.  But the Canadian government is full of pussies, dickheads and wusses.  Their proudest achievement is not being American.

Mate, insert the word MUSLIM after ‘Lebanese’ please!

I have got Lebanese Christian (Maronite) mates. They have been the victims of the Muslims for centuries, and to quote one of them: ‘The bastards followed us out here and started up the same shit as back in Lebanon.’

The gangs involved are 100% Muslim. But Egyptian Muslims, Libyan, Tunisian, Moroccan, Somali – ALL ethnic Arabs, they are told to describe themselves as Lebanese so that the Maronites are tarred with the same brush.

To do this plays right in to Muslim hands – they can try and hide behind the Lebanese Christians, and use their ‘weight’ politically for Muslim ends.

Now, from my fallible memory, there are about 270,000 Lebanese in Sydney, of whom roughly 40% are Muslims and the rest Christians. You can see why these tactics are attractive to the Muslims.

The Maronites loathe the Muslims. SO do the Christian Copts, who are mostly Egyptian. One of my Maronite acquantances notes that they murdered a significant number of his relatives in Lebanon, and ethnically cleansed the rest out of southern Lebanon.

So, mate, break ‘em up and call it like it is. The lebanese and Egyptian Christians fit right in to Australia, love the place, and assimilate wonderfully. There are no Lebanese maronite gangs roaming around doing any of this sort of shit.

The ones who are are 100% Muslim. It is a Muslim problem, and the Lebanese Maronites, Egyptian Copts, Syrian Melkites, Iraqi Assyrians and Chaldeans are all Christians from the long-conquered Christian Kingdoms of the Middle East – and they are all our allies.

Do not expect anything from bloody Iemma, he seat is Lakemba and to quote another Maronite: ‘When Hilaly wants a blowjob, Iemma is first in the line, and always swallows’.

Crude, but guess who helped with the ALP branch-stacking in Lakemba?

    1. Just who the hell is Greg Barns?

He’s constantly pitched as a “former senior adviser” to the Howard government. How senior was he? And who did he advise?

He then moves to the completely dysfunctional and rapidly imploding Australian Democrats, then has the temerity to write a book called “What’s wrong with the Liberal Party”, about the party that, the last time I looked, was about to rack up ten years in government, four consecutive federal election victories, effective control of both houses of federal parliament, and finished off 2005 by passing legislation to sell Telstra, reform industrial relations, and abolish compulsory student unionism.

Since his heady times as a “senior advisor to the Federal government”, he’s been a spectacularly unsuccessful paid lobbyist for the Australian Republican Movement and the Australian Gold Council. He’s since returned to the lucrative field of Tasmanian politics as a candidate for a party that couldn’t organise the proverbial root in a brothel.

So what the hell makes this guy some sort of expert commentator?

    1. #15 Mark L:
I remember reading a NSW Police Force confidential report on the Lebanese in Lebanon in regards to drugs trafficking about 12 years ago.  The NSW Police (now Service) know what’s going on, but are they doing anything about it?  My job back then was in law enforcement.

Yes, the criminal activities were not only aligned along religious affiliations but also family and tribal ones.  The report went right into details of various tribes in Lebanon and their modus operandi.

I’ve said it before in Tim’s blog,  but Aussie’s are too frigging easy going.  There’s a cancer there that needs neutering or excising, and bugger all seems to have been done over the last 20+ years.

You mean you want 20 inches of snow covering you over a good part of the year? Or do you mean Australia should be moved closer to the USA, astride it like harridan Canada, sucking the USA for its trade and military protection? Australians are too self-sufficient and proud to play that game. Have you forgotten, even one part of Canada doesn’t want to be like the other part of Canada? They now speak two languages poorly.
