These people think that the World Trade Center was brought down by controlled demolition:
Pity them.
UPDATE. The BBC reports:
The conspiracy theorists were … out in force, wearing black T-shirts saying “Investigate 9/11” and holding up signs saying “Dissent is patriotic”.
“The investigation so far has been a cover-up,” Brad Gordon said.
“I’m not saying controlled-demolition this or Dick Cheney that,” he added. “But we don’t know what really happened.”

Right about the same time we all capitulated to that deconstructionist idiocy that has us saying such outrageous dumbass bullshit as, for example, our service men serve so that the treasonous scum can indulge their whimsy without repercussion.
That entire line of thought is nothing but a blatant capitulation to those who have openly and aggressively been about the business of pulling down our culture for decades.

SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER THEATER
Act 1, Scene 1POWER: And so with the support of my party and assuming our shaky agreement with the opposition holds, we might be able to push some slight amendment to existing laws through the process of legislative check and balance that will amend the import tariffs to better reflect-
SEMI-BEARDED FUCKWIT: Hey power! You suck! I bet you did 9/11 and.. and YOU SUCK! BOO!
POWER: Well I don’t know if that’s an appropriate contribution to-
SEMI-BEARDED FUCKWIT: Whoooh! Yeah! You suck ass!
POWER: Why don’t you vote me out then? This is a democracy
SEMI-BEARDED FUCKWIT: This democracy is a pathetic sham! If this was a real democracy people I vote for would always win! If I voted, that is.
POWER: I’m trying to give a speech here-
SEMI-BEARDED FUCKWIT: Now he’s trying to SILENCE me! It’s AUSCHWITZ ALL OVER AGAIN!
COLLEGE CHICK: Wow man, like, I saw what you said to power, that was like, really brave.
SEMI-BEARDED FUCKWIT: (modestly) Yeah well you know, like Nietzsche said, if good people do nothing it’s like evil wins you know?
COLLEGE CHICK: Oh man that’s like so true.
SEMI-BEARDED FUCKWIT: So can we have sex?
COLLEGE CHICK: Oh.. well, no, because we both know that there’s something fundamentally sexually unattractive about overly-serious dweebs who make a great show of defying public authority figures with no actual power to cause them the slightest personal risk whatsoever. During the course of our four-year platonic relationship I’m going to be screwing a football player full time and compaining about him to you, because you’re such a ‘good listener’, and also I’ll be doing a biker on the side because I’m a free spirit and it’ll make my Dad incredibly angry, and then when college is over I’m going to un-dred my hair and marry an insurance claims adjuster with a million-and-five terrace house in the suburbs because by then I’ll have grown up realized I hate hippies.
SEMI-BEARDED FUCKWIT: A hand-job in the carpark then?
COLLEGE CHICK: No.

- I have thought for a long time that it’s possible there were bombs planted inside the towers – and WTC 5,6, and 7 for that matter – but not becuase of some looney crackpot theory that our own government planted them.
Just think – the 1993 Trade Center bombing involved massive bombs underneath the towers. Who knows if this time, explosives were also smuggled into the towers and hidden away, to be activated on 9/11?
I’m not saying I think this was done, because I’ve no evidence that it was. I’m saying that it was possible – and much more plausible than the tinfoil hat brigade’s theory.
BW, I worked in tower 1 (the one with the antenna on it) until April 2001. My old office is today just a spot in the sky. But going in and out of the building each day, I can tell you it would have been easy to smuggle in C-4 or something like it over a long period of time, hide it in one’s desk, and deploy it rapidly. Does anyone doubt that terrorists could have secured jobs within the WTC complex? Does anyone doubt that the overall plot could have been more complex even than airplanes used as cruise missiles?
Plausible? Yeah, barely. (That’s light-years ahead of the theories held by those mooncalves pictured above).

Negatory on that. How they got to be enemy or what happens to them “here-after” aint a consideration.
Close with and destroy the enemy…
Nothing there about sensifying them. That’s the fault and failure of their educators.
They remain as enemy because it is trendy and safe to do so.
It remains trendy and safe to do so because the rest of us remain on our knees, sucking at the crotch of the thought bosses that spawned these enemy.
In turn, we spew the same deconstructionist thought-snot every time one of us vomits up that string of lies about how it’s the dissenters that prove our strength, or that those of us who have served or are currently serving do so that these traitors can operate openly and freely and without repercussion.

If UBL and his colleagues were savvy enough to believe the two aircraft would bring down the towers, then why would they bother to take the risk of planting explosives beforehand? They already had the means with two controlled flying “bombs”.
Maybe someone on their side had a good knowledge of structural engineering and figured it would not have mattered where the planes hit to bring them down but I have my doubts. I would have thought the suiciders would have aimed a lot lower if a collapse was their goal.
If the towers had remained standing the damage and deaths would still have been horrific enough to make their point. I may be wrong but I believe they got far more results than they anticipated.

Nope.
No event no matter how horrific will awaken anyone that 9/11 itself did not awaken.
You really want to know where the problem lies?
Me and you buddy. Look in the mirror.
All of us that understand this threat, yet continue to stay on our knees are directly responsible for the continuance of this domestic threat.I am not advocating violence. I am hoping that violence can be averted, but that’s just an emotion-based hope.
What I am advocating, or more like actually demanding, is that we stop tolerating the bullshit. We get loud about it where ever it crops up, no matter the venue no matter what it might cost us in “social acceptability” or approval of our peers.
It exists at the exaggerated degree that it does simply because it is trendy. It is trendy simply because it is safe. It is safe simply because the general population puts up with it.
We need to make it less trendy, feel less safe and erode that knee-jerk acceptance of the decades old deconstructionist indoctrination that is the blanket under which treason hides from the light of reality.
The other options are:
1. Stay on our knees and keep sucking away and wait for those that are awake but not weak to become so enraged that the blood starts flowing.
or if that doesn’t happen prior to actual full defeat then we just:
2. Lay down and submit. Relax and hope it doesn’t hurt too much.

Maybe you weren’t aware, but 42% of Americans think there was a cover-up involving 9/11, according to a recent Zogby poll. 36% believe the government was directly involved, according to a recent Scripps Howard/Ohio University poll. The people who organized the “Investigate 9/11” t-shirt wearing event (the pic only shows a few of them) produced a movie called Loose Change which is the #1 viewed video at Google Video. Bill Doyle, representative of Coalition of 9/11 Families, the largest 9/11 families’ group has gone public alleging a government coverup, and has said on radio that a lot of the families feel the same way.
Let’s see, who else has gone public?
Retired CIA analyst Ray McGovern
Robert M. Bowman, Head of Advanced Space Programs for DOD
U.S. Senator Mark Dayton
U.S. Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney
Paul Craig Roberts, Assistant Sect. of Treasury under Pres. Reagan

- OK jeremyjj, I’ll bite.
You’re only true point is the disclaimer you see on registering to post on this site. I suspect it’s a legal one.
That the posts here get a bit vitiolic is without question. Some of it’s humour; most of it is venting by people who have had enough of left-wing BS. That many of them are affiliated with the armed services raises their personal stake in this issue. You see, we firmly believe that capitalism and freedom are the paths to prosperity, and that a country’s prosperity is key to the quality of life of its citizens. And we are prepared to defend that. World history, plus the fact that 99.999% of your ilk have not emigrated to the Middle East indicates you too, deep down, know this. You’re all so paranoid that Bush wants to dominate the world, when there’s nothing you’d like better than “redistribute” the wealth – at gunpoint, if we refuse. You don’t recognise individual property rights; you are a threat to our way of life. This is why we despise you.
As for conspiracy theories, where do I start? Think for a moment, just a moment, how many people it would take to keep secret a conspiracy on such a gigantic scale as the one which would be required to cover up 9/11. Apart from the fact that not all the doubters you listed believe there is a conspiracy behind 9/11 (Bowman, for instance, was talking about America’s agenda in the Iraq war), not one of them had anything directly to do with military affairs pertaining to the event. No one has produced secret files, documents or the like proving, or even raising anything more than paranoid suspicion of, a conspiracy.
As for polls, I wouldn’t mind knowing the wording of some of those questionaires. You can usually get the answer you want from an opinion poll with the right leading question. Also, any poll is subject to bias, even if it’s just sampling bias (ask how many people who read Woman’s Day believe in astrology). And lastly, you can multiply zero by 80 million, it still equals zero.
Read – I mean read, not bag – Adam Smith’s “Wealth of nations”, the read Ayn Rand’s ‘The Fountainhead” and “Atlas Shrugged”. If you still want to argue your delusions after that, there’s no help for you.
- You’re a better man than I am, Dminor[augmented]. A fine reply.

- Spiny Norman, I do not engage in name-calling games, so you win.
MentalFloss, the statistics, polls, and hits on Google Video (not youtube) was not intended to convince you of the validity of their case, but to demonstrate that whether you like it or not, this is an issue that has gradually been working its way into the mainstream over the years. I have been observing this trend since early 2002.
Dminor, thank you for biting! First off, let me address these interesting assumptions you have made about me. You assume I want to redistribute wealth at gunpoint. I must admit I have only read ABOUT Adam Smith and Ayn Rand, but I take interest in a wide variety of political and economic theories from Noam Chomsky’s libertarian-socialism, to Murray Rothbard’s anarcho-capitalism, to the writings of Friedrich Hayek and Milton Friedman, to G. Edward Griffin. You see, I don’t believe I know it all, and am constantly seeking new ideas from all over the political spectrum. The idea of redistributing wealth at gunpoint would be a completely dishonest and absurd thing for me to support. I have a feeling there is NOT a perfect correlation between conspiracy believers and communists, as you imply. In fact, most conspiracy research has its roots in far-right organizations like the John Birch Society (who thought highly of McCarthy.)
Now the doubters I listed actually, if you look each of them up I think you’ll find just about all of them “go all the way” and allege a conspiracy. Bowman DOES believe in conspiracy, here is a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6X_r4DppWk
Bowman was also part of a panel discussion at a “9/11 Truth Conference” in L.A. back in July, which aired on C-SPAN four times over the course of one weekend, where ALL the presenters were going into detail about 9/11 and what they belive to be evidence of government complicity. You can view it here: http://www.911podcasts.com/display.php?vid=146&epi=0
And as for the polls, so you can see the wording they use yourself, here are links:
http://www.zogby.com/features/features.dbm?ID=231
On number 24 they show that 42% believe “US government and its 9/11 Commission concealed or refused to investigate critical evidence that contradicts their official explanation of the September 11th attacks, saying there has been a cover-up.”http://www.newspolls.org/story.php?story_id=55
Sixth paragraph down: Thirty-six percent of respondents overall said it is “very likely” or “somewhat likely” that federal officials either participated in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon or took no action to stop them “because they wanted the United States to go to war in the Middle East.”Your skeptic link said the page wasn’t found, but I’ve probably read similar arguments. http://www.911myths.com/ and http://screwloosechange.blogspot.com/ are excellent sites challenging the conspiratorial view as well as clearing up some disinformation. Better yet, read the government’s NIST Fact Sheet addressing the issue of how the towers fell: http://wtc.nist.gov/pubs/factsheets/faqs_8_2006.htm and then, for balance, a rebuttal by Brigham Young University’s Dr. Steven E Jones, Physicist and Archaeometrist: http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:Z3tLh0j6QW8J:www.physics.byu.edu/research/energy/htm7.html+steven+jones+NIST+fact+sheet&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=1&client=firefox-a.
- I’m sorry, jeremyjj, for implying you were a communist. Actually I was thinking, more likely, just the usual garden variety socialist that appears these ways, like toxic blue-green algae, and subconsciously associating you with those manly men in the original photos of this post, I guess. Rereding you post, you haven’t actually stated that you agree with the conspiracy theories (of which there are several, contradicting versions, of course), so just possibly you were simply offended by MentalFloss’s more beer-inspired postings and just wanted to stir the pot. Still, 9/11 conspiracy, despite some “right wing” proponents (These “wings” can mean a whole lot of different things to different people, BTW), appears to be fondly nourished by the left, trumpted by the far left, and giggled at by Middle Eastern extremists who can’t believe how easy it all is.
I will also apologise now for not making any effort to link to your sites; a shame, considering the amount of effort you must have put in, all for my edification, but your link titles were long enough for me to get the gist – so hey, I’ll take it at face value. My original arguement against polls still stands; ie: puplic opinion does not equal fact. Hell, I use public opinion as an anti-guide to what’s probably true most of the time.
Nor will I read those books you mentioned unless…no, not even then. No offense, but there are some very basic prinicples at work here. I did most of my wrangling 15-20 years ago when exposed to most marxist/socialist stuff, so I’m familiar with their basic tenets. You don’t have to read the books I mentioned, either. Doesn’t hurt me – just thought you’d be grateful later on having the world set straight for you.
Anyway, we’re getting all very phylosophical and wildly off topic here, so maybe another time.
- Oh, the gunpoint bit. Learnt this at my pappy’s knee. Say, for the sake of arguement, a new tax is levied – everyone earning over $50, 000 has to pay a $5000 “poor” tax.
A man refuses. He gets sent a reminder. He ignores it. He gets a court summons. He won’t go. The police are called. He won’t answer the door. They break the door down and find he’s armed. They take out their guns and ask him, one more time, to come with them and hand over the money to other people he has never met.
Many lefties get quite surprised to learn that their ideas for “social justice”, would lead to, if resisted, a bullett in the head (though the ones that already know this and are still happy are more repulsive).
So when you next see a “better off with a bullett in his head” post, think of it as our form of reactionary statement. We’re sick of them taking our money and our liberties, and accusing us of not caring.
The End.
- I went to Ground Zero this past Monday to honor the memory of the victims of Islamic terrorism and to counter the 9/11 conspiracy nuts. I didn’t bring any signs or wear any shirt with a message because I didn’t think it was appropriate.
Well when I got to Liberty Street outside the PATH terminal, it was obvious that many didn’t care what was “appropriate.”
There was a large cabal of people wearing T-Shirts like “Investigate 9/11” or “9/11 Was An Inside Job.” It became clear what those miscreants were up to.
I listened to some of the effluvium. The said they wanted to “ask questions” about 9/11. The truth is, they REALLY didn’t want to ask questions, they wanted to blame the US government and Bush for 9/11, plain and simple, They were handing out free copies of a DVD by a Michael Moore wannabe, this 22-year old punk Dylan Avery. They basically said the World Trade Center was brought down by bombs, and that 7 WTC was a controlled demolition. They said that the CIA, Bush, FBI, Cheney, Halliburton engineered 9/11.
Many of them completely denied the existed of Islam-O-Fascism, and said that anyone that thought that was racist.
I decided to challenge these mooonbats, so I asked my OWN questions:
Who was responsible for the 1993 World Trade Center attack?
Who was responsible for the Khobar Towers attack?
Who was responsible for the Bali bombings?
Who was responsible for the attack on the USS Cole.?Most of them that I asked this question of said either the FBI, CIA, or the government. They said it didn’t matter if it was Clinton or Bush, it was all the same “evil” government. I should have asked them who was responsible for the Madrid and London bombings. It’s like they memorized the talking points exactly, and got their brainwashing exactly right. Some of them said they had no idea who was responsible for the above attacks—-but they are CERTAIN Bush and America were responsible for 9/11.
I tried my best to argue with them and stand up for America, but it fell on deaf hears. Willfully deaf ears, I might add.
Just a few of the choice morsels these America hating libtards said:
1.There was one sign that said “Bush Regime Engineered 9/11” and he tried to convince me of it. We got into a conversation about the war. One of Protest Warrior’s sign said “Except for ending slavery, fascism and communism, war never solved anything.” So I asked him about different ward. He said that both WW1 and WW2 were “noble” wars. (How magnanimous of him.) I then asked him about the Civil War. He said “the South was right.” So—slavery was right, eh?
2.One guy kept going on aobut “how can you hijack a plane with box cutters? How could the passengers not fight back?” Hmm—how could the victims of the Wendy’s massacre not fight back? How could the hostages of the Achile Lauro not fight back?
3.Oh by the way, did you know that know that Valerie Plame was really outed because she was going to “blow the whistle” on where the CIA was going to plant WMDs in Iraq so Bush would be proved right?
Some of them carried on about money and the greed of Republicans and Bush. Gee, I wonder where they got the money to buy all their T-Shirts? Maybe…George Soros? All of this infuriated me until I had enough and decided to go over to West Street and see where some of the families were gathered.
This showed me how people are willfully blind to the real threat of Islam-O-Fascism and hate America. It has made me more resolved to stand up for the America and combat liberals and anyone else who tries to tear down America.
By the way, the moonbats refer to this Steven Jones, a college professor. I guess that makes him RIGHT!! We all know college professors are sooooooo smart!Like all the college professors that taught the ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY of the truth of Piltdown Man, huh?
- #107 Dminor. Thanks for that. He was my first cousin’s grandson. I never met him, but he was, by all accounts, a hard worker with big dreams.
I’m sure he would have made it from the mail room to an executive office in a relatively short time had his light not been snuffed out by the same enemies that threaten us to this very day.
