Forget Mark Bahnisch’s crazy boasting. He’s now been overtaken as the Left’s most-read non-corporate blogging identity by online powerhouse Darryl Mason:
This blog pulls anything from 1800 to 5000 individual readers per day …
Whoa! Bahnisch’s place never receives 5,000 visits, much less 5,000 individual readers. More from Super Darryl:
To say that my mind has been blown by the growth of readers in the past 18 months (particularly in the past six months) would be an understatement. This site is now only a few thousand readers away from providing something between a part-time and full-time living.
Beat that, Mark! Beat that, all you other Lefties! Of course, there’s always the slim chance Darryl is making things up.
Did anyone see John Hartigan (News Lts CEO) give the Andrew Olle lecture on ABC last night.
Great insight into the links between blogging/internet/journalism.

5000- that’s nothing – 5 trillion individual readers have visited my blog, and that’s just in the last ten minutes

#6 Eeniemeenie: Oh, yeah? Well, I don’t even have a blog, and 14 bazillion people have been googling in the last three minutes, just to see if I’ve set one up yet. I’m thinking of setting up a Paypal account on an empty blog site dedicated to the mere promise of posting something in the future. Pledges to donate already amount to one billion dollars. Darryl’s running along yapping at the tail lights on the caboose of my gravy train, but he’s getting smaller and smaller . . .
Daryl would have more success with paypal if he promised that for each donation of $1.00, he wouldn’t post for 1 day.
That would make that a FULL TIME income once Rudd et al get in. Now that’s aspirational!
I’d pay him $1,095 just to get 3 years peace until Rudd is tossed out and forgotten, and another 12 years of conservative rules ensues.
#11- Pledges to donate already amount to one billion dollars.
If your blog features the adventures of detective Paco (who has long since overtaken Lazlo Woodbine as my favourite hard boiled gumshoe)- I can see why.

Thanks, kae! Glad you liked it. I still think Lyle would do it better, though… 😉
