Sydney Alternative Media has issues with last Saturday’s column:
The second last sentence allegedly quotes David Hicks in a letter in his young 20ies with a crude reference to sex he wants to have when he gets back. Written perhaps when he found himself dominated by male company in far flung places 8 years ago before he got a Muslim religious experience …
So where did Blair get the letter to quote? Is it satire or real? Why the bottom of the fourth column? Could it be because it reveals a back channel of political, illegal leaking by the security industry to Blair in News Ltd …
The letter was written by Hicks circa 2004. It was sent to his former flatmate Louise Fletcher and subsequently published in the September 12, 2006 edition of The Bulletin. This may easily be found by entering certain terms in a search engine.
