    1. A10’s Miss Strabismus 1980 is quite a dish. Here in the states we passed laws forbidding photographers to drop concrete bricks on models to produce that blank, passive look; did Australia ever get around to doing the same?

      I also like A6; I didn’t know Nichlas Cage spent his youth in Australia.

  1. Some observations –

    …The car in A21 is faboo.  I think I saw it in a Speed Racer episode.
    …A6 – apparently, the weight of this woman’s hairstyle has driven her mad.
    …A8 – she left the tails ON?  Yikes.
    …A17 – boy, you Aussies were lucky, your 70s were much less ugly than ours.
    …A10 – ok, scratch that last.
    …My favorite picture, A5.  That happiness and freedom is the whole point of civilization.  It’s also nice to remember that our generation didn’t invent leisure or fun.
