Tim, would your title by any chance be alluding to Rob Long’s “The Long View” in the National Review Online of 18th December (sorry people, subscribers only)?  In the spoof article the Al-Jazeera talk show interviews several commentators among whom is Fatima Kourizad, columnist for the Yemen Mountain Daily News (in a burqa I presume) whose comments are transcribed as:

   “Mmmmgrmmpppp. Smthd grp brrmmm prpp.”
