“Algor” is Latin for “coldness”.

- And according to Wikipedia, “an algorithm is a procedure (a finite set of well-defined instructions) for accomplishing some task which, given an initial state, will terminate in a defined end-state.”
Procedure: Engender panic
Task: Convince populace that Gore is needed to avert crisis
Defined end-state: Prez Al!

- Algor mortis is the reduction in body temperature following death (Latin: algor—coolness; mortis—death).
- So, he’s not really the Gorical, he’s the Goricicle?
Sounds like a Batman villain, to me!

- As moptop pointed out—Algor the murderous!
Spies may come in from the algor, and the Algorous War may be over and restarting, but the Algorous Equations remain what they are, and there is still no cure for the common algor.
Walking side by side with ALGOR,
ALGOR mocks their every step,
The snow drives back the foot that’s slow,
The dogs of ALGOR are howling mo’,
They carry news that must get past ALGOR,
To build a dream for me and you, not ALGOR,
They choose a path where ALGOR grooowwws! Woe-oh-woe-oh!

- At first I thought the Gore Effect was a joker’s figment, but as we have seen again and again (remember the blasts of cold across the USA around Oscars time?) the Gore Effect is very real.
Gore Effect denialists must be shunted aside and legislation should be considered in order to make it an offense for them to open their fat traps. Not freedom, not checks & balances, but instead the Gore Effect, must become the central organizing principle for civilization.

Bunny SuicidesJust a bit of morbid funny to lighten up the weekday 🙂
- I don’t know where AlGore is right now, but ancient Roman glossaries and Nostradamus’s quatrains both indicate that Gore will be in NYC this coming November 19th to receive an Emmy. O New Yorkers, beware the ice pellets of November 19th!
- OT And we thought the NSW government was bad
I don’t think this is reason for mirth (failed suicide bombings are another matter) but this quote tests it to the limit:
Village mayor Ziad Abu Thabet said 70 per cent of the village’s mostly ramshackle homes had been buried in raw sewage.
“The situation is very bad,” the mayor said.

- no posts in two hours- are the climate change police rounding sceptics up or are you all too busy laughing at the way Turnbull nuked Garrett in parliament today?
Garrett asked Turnbull if he agreed with Labor policy- turns out Garrett didn’t have a clue about his own policy.
Wonder how long he’ll be allowed to fester on the shadow front bench?Posted by eeniemeenie on 2007 03 28 at 01:53 AM • permalink

Climate change whirlwind
Billed as the rock star of climate change, Nicholas Stern is perhaps better described as a shooting star. Yesterday the famous economist jetted into Sydney…Had the irony bypass op, I see …
In Australia for less than 48 hours
Before jetting off yet again to join Flummery, Gore et al on a fossil fuel crusade?
