    1. At first I thought the Gore Effect was a joker’s figment, but as we have seen again and again (remember the blasts of cold across the USA around Oscars time?) the Gore Effect is very real.

      Gore Effect denialists must be shunted aside and legislation should be considered in order to make it an offense for them to open their fat traps. Not freedom, not checks & balances, but instead the Gore Effect, must become the central organizing principle for civilization.

      Perth yesterday recorded its lowest ever (since 1897) temperature in March – 6.5C at 6.26am.  Previous record was 7.6C in 2001.

      Jandakot was even colder – 2.6C yesterday and 1.6C this morning.
