Robert Fisk takes baby steps towards trutherdom:
I am increasingly troubled at the inconsistencies in the official narrative of 9/11.
This isn’t exactly a big leap for Fisk (who feels obliged to tell his readers: “I am not a conspiracy theorist”). The celebrated idiot already holds strange beliefs about the Israeli and Australian military.
(Via several readers and Hot Air)
Fuck Fisk. He got punched up by some Palestinians and then told them he was sorry after they kicked the shit out of him.
I dare him to turn up to an Australian Army barracks and spins his usual line.
BTW. I will be changing my name because Captain Flume is gay and I mean generation
Y gay… ie shit. And no-one will now except TB and Andrea.
Fisk you are a joke.
I can’t remember my password so I guess I will remain generation
Y gay.
Shut up!
I posted this link earlier in the big Blog Day thread but it’s more relevant to this here thread, I think.
Courage, Cowardice and Word Smiths from American Thinker site.
I do not read it to mean that all who learn facility with using words but to mean those who learn to use words exclusively.
I am incresingly troubled by the willingness of previously credible newspapers to publish the demented rantings of Robert Fisk. On Saturday The Canberra Times published one of his articles under the headline “Hypocrisy in Iraq adds to long list of US mutations”. It was a non stop diatribe against all that is not Arab, except for the bits which criticised Arabs for not waking up to us “It’s not so much the cupidity of Arab leaders that enrages us. Look at our long support for our faithful ally, er, Saddam. It’s their ignorance of history taht appals us”
Doesn’t appear in the online edition or I would provide a link.
F#*k Fisk. This is what happens when idiots have access to oceans of disconnected data—they just dance between the inconvenient bits.
I know someone who was at work in the Pentagon when that plane hit and who risked his life to go back inside and save
co-workers. Most of his body was burned. He is still in pain daily.
Here is a succinct account, plus a list of the dead, both passengers and Pentagon staff.
How to account for their disappearance and that of the 757? I can’t be bothered looking into what the 9/11diots believe, but I assume it’s something like: the plane was flown to within yards of the Pentagon (per black box recorder and passengers’ cellphone calls that the flight had been “hijacked” by men with “knives” and “box cutters”), then was remote-control reversed in midair and landed in some secret location, where the passengers were offloaded and killed by secret government squirrels, and the plane and all bodies were buried, meanwhile the plane was instantaneously substituted with a missile.
Whatever.

Within hours, al-Qa’ida attacked Baquba in battalion strength and slaughtered all the local sheikhs who had thrown in their hand with the Americans.
I haven’t seen this reported anywhere. Another Fisking?
I did see reports of alQ trying to “invade” (2 trucks
) and get wiped out. Is this what he is talking about?
And the “all the local sheikhs” just REEKS with gross exageration.
#14; I believe he was talking about this, 4th paragraph down. One sheik with several of his family members killed.

Kae, the definition of symptoms would have to include ability to remember things that never happened in order
to apply to Fisk. There is a lot of that going around. Remember John Kerry saying how the memory of Christmas 1968 in Cambodia, listening to President Nixon on theradio, was seared into his brain? It never happened. The Dems wanted us to elect as President, and give access to the nuclear triggers to, a man who had fantasies “seared” into his memory. Riiiight.

That’s what happens when you read the Choose Your Own Adventure version.

You are classic Infidel Tiger. I nearly choked from laughter on my lunch. Thanks
for the laugh – much appreciated.
One can only wonder at what Fisk’s official narrative would be…..

Fisk lapsed into self-parody a long time ago. Unfortunately, he has become a role model for other twits.
