Webdiary reader Mike Lyvers requests of guest editor Harry Heidelberg:

Harry, now that you’ve got the keys to Webdiary, how about inviting, say, Tim Blair to contribute an article? It would be interesting to see the look on Margo’s face when she returns.

Harry replies:

Yes that would be pretty funny, Blair in Webdiary! I don’t think I’d get far. I was banned from Tim Blair sometime last year for daring to defend Margo. I am sure you have read some of the stuff in his blog. It is quite puerile, not to say even downright offensive. I probably should be good this first time I have been given the keys. It’s like when your parents first let you take out the car alone. Not a good idea to go down to the mall and do 360’s etc. Then again, if Blair were to write, I suppose he would be treated equally, a courtesy he rarely extends himself!

Harry (who has appeared in comments here several times) is presumably unaware that Kingston refuses to publish anything I send Webdiary’s way. Too few spelling errors, apparently.
