A thought occurs to the Age’s David Cook:
Many of the young people that occupy backpacker hostels are from the demographic that actively protests against the Iraq War and other “hot issues”, takes action on climate change and have endless conversations about “changing the world”.
But they can’t even seem to do a simple thing like cleaning up after themselves.
Steady on, Dave. That’s the government’s job.
