CafePress.com permits this T-shirt design (not work safe), but has withdrawn from display reader Matthew J.’s rather more thoughtful image:

Matt’s shirt is “generally offensive or in bad taste”, apparently.

    1. Hicks praying. He’s a good boy.

    1. Though the thong seems appropriate with the… erm, “I can smell your,” erm… I’m not going to say that in polite company

    1. I tend to agree with CafePress.  Obviously Mathew J should have been drowned at birth.  Given that oversight his shirt is a mere empty moral echo.

    1. Although it doesn’t absolve Cafe Press of their (typical) hypocrisy, the obscene phrase in the linked example is from The Silence of the Lambs. So it has “celebrity status”, I suppose.

    1. Just an aesthetic point, but shouldn’t the “S” be highlighted in black along with the “B” and “D” rather than the “O” in “HOME” to make BDS the hidden message of the shirt?

    1. “Bring David Hicks Home – and Hang Him”

This message is just plain WRONG.

      We should hang him here.

    1. We should hang him here.

I disagree.  If the US intended to execute Mr Hicks we should have done so immediatly upon his capture, per the Geneva Convention.

Since we did not, he should be returned to Australia, an allied power (would be different if he were from an enemy state), there to suffer whatever his home country’s penalty for treason is.

    1. #7 Absolutely.

One is a classic line from a classic film.

The other… Well, it’s just commonsense.

    1. Maybe we can “encourage” India to request his extradition there.  After all, he has publicly admitted that he committed acts of terrorism against India shot at Indian soldiers from across the border.

    1. re the link, I particularly liked the ‘I Can Smell Your C**t’ infant/toddler t-shirt ($13.99) and baby bib. The latest in casualwear for your very own little Hannibal.

    1. Yuh, right, Hicks huddled barefoot in a corner.  Instead of sitting quite comfortable and alert with his lefty lawyers.  Tell me another one.

    1. Yes.
Bring him home to mother in a cardboard box.

At least one of his supporters should get that reference.

    1. It wasn’t Hannibal’s line, IIRC. The guy in the next cell, who Hannibal later talked into hanging himself for his “impoliteness”.

      Not that it matters.
