OFFSETS OFFSET

Infuriated by bands forwarding his CD-buying and concert-attending cash to stupid carbon-offset schemes, music fan Jasper M. Walterson comes up with a fix. It’ll work for you, too.

    1. Great link, Tim. Jasper’s even got a Che theme (incidentally, one of the funniest Che t-shirts I’ve run across).

    1. I’d take the cook out option, if I could join in the festivities.  That’s a very nice lab set up.

    1. I had a problem, I found a solution, I used some intelligence. I caught some fish, but BOY was it hard to get out of that link.

    1. I’ve been given hope that the world as I know it will continue at least for my lifetime.  After that, you’re all on your own.

    1. On similar lines, it is possible to see a Michael Moore film without contributing to his chili-dog fund.

    1. #4, RebeccaH

I’ve been given hope that the world as I know it well continue at least for my lifetime.  After that, you’re all on your own.

I think the viros, and other scam artists, like politicians, deepest hope is that the swag will last their lifetimes.  If not, well, in the end we’re all dead anyway.

Now, I’ve got to go spread the word about that site.  It offers such a breath of fresh air!

    1. I like the option where they drive 30 miles in the most environmentally unfriendly vehicle they can find, buy disposable plastic and paper products and dispose of them unused. I think they could further enhance that option by changing the tyres at the end of each trip, and burning the old ones.

Disposable party plates and serviettes – $10
Four new tyres and lighting fluid – $605
Look on Cameron Diaz’s face – Priceless

    1. The county adjacent to ours is considering prohibiting the use of wood-burning stoves and fireplaces this winter. I have my work cut out for me.

  1. Are they going to reduce their carbon emmisions as they are advertising this on the web and on computers and this takes up energy?
