UNNECESSARY EMPHASIS PLACED
The Sydney Morning Herald’s code of ethics:
Staff will not place unnecessary emphasis on personal characteristics, including race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, family relationships, religious belief or physical disability.
