UNHACKED
Turns out this site was hacked earlier, although accidentally. The repair of a PMachine settings issue on another site somehow led to the removal of everything here. I don’t know how these things work, but Andrea Harris does, which is why we’re back online so quickly. Thank you, Andrea.
And thanks too to Tim Dunlop, who was among the brief list of bloggers I emailed when the problem occurred. (We don’t agree on anything much politically, but sometimes Tim and I will exchange friendly notes, in the manner of WWI troops at Christmastime.) His response? An immediate invitation to post at his site, complete with log-in and password details.
