THE SIGNS! CAN’T YOU SEE THE SIGNS?

“The signs are all there,” warns Charleston’s Carol Ryan:

Global warming, or climate change is real. To put it bluntly, global warming could destroy the world in 35 or 40 years by way of water: hurricanes, tsunamis, and another ice age ...

The only person who has stood up for the environment and global warming in politics is Al Gore. It is amazing that even after he was declared president and won the popular vote, but strangely lost the election, he still cared about helping the environment and did not give up.

Tell it to the Chilean sea bass, lady.

UPDATE. Instapundit reader Dave Mason: “In Al’s defense, I did not know that the Chilean sea bass was endangered. By this act of selfless consumption, awareness has been raised. I will continue to not eat Chilean sea bass, and Al has once again saved some portion of the planet. Give that man a Nobel prize and some lemon juice.”

UPDATE II. Gore: Ate Bass, Looks Like an Ass. Jennifer L. Jacquet wonders how “someone so in tune to the problem of global warming [can] be so in the dark about Chilean sea bass.”

UPDATE III. The US media has given Saint Al a free pass on this. Leave it to the Daily Telegraph, then. Massive hits arriving from Insty and Drudge.
