OPEN THREAD ON LONDON ATTACK
Post latest news and relevant links in comments. Current status: 20 said to be killed in seven blasts across London; 95 injured; Tony Blair returning to London within hours; explosions confirmed to be work of terrorists.
Whoever did this, their supporters and enablers, should be hunted down and erased. But that goes without saying.

UPDATE II. Headline in this morning’s Age, about G8 security: Locals tire of security overkill. Man quoted in the article: “You would think that the whole of al-Qaeda was coming.”
UPDATE III. From the BBC’s witness accounts:
I overheard one lady saying to a police officer that it looked like someone had left what looked like a brown jumper on the platform and it exploded.
Smoke filled the platform and people were evacuated.
London is havoc now.
