NO EXCUSES MADE
US-born Muslim leader Sheikh Khalid Yasin, lately in Australia:
There’s no such thing as a Muslim having a non-Muslim friend, so a non-Muslim could be your associate but they can’t be a friend. They’re not your friend because they don’t understand your religious principles and they cannot because they don’t understand your faith.
Ol’ Sheikh Khalid sure ain’t no friend o’ them queer-eye decoratin’ folks:
The sharia is very clear about it, the punishment for homosexuality, bestiality or anything like that is death. We don’t make any excuses about that, it’s not our law — it’s the Koran.
Here’s Sheikh Khalid during an earlier visit to Australia, in 2003:
If you don’t have a people that is governed by Sharia, then you have a lawless people ... If we look at the evolution of the Sharia experiment in Nigeria for instance. It’s just a wonderful, phenomenal experience. It has brought about some sweeping changes, balances, within the society, regulations in terms of moral practices and so many things.
“This,” reported Australia’s 60 Minutes last Sunday, “from a man who was about to apply to become an Australian resident.”
