HICKS ADORED
Like antiwar Democrats who didn’t know Australia was among nations committed to liberating Iraq, and chronology-challenged author Bryce Courtenay, Traceeee Hutchison hasn’t been paying attention:
He was certainly not the only Australian who considered the warmongering activities of George Bush - and his allies - to be abhorrent and worthy of opposing. And he has paid the price of his convictions.
She’s talking about David Hicks, whom Traceeee believes commenced his noble antics after the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. She also apparently believes Hicks was opposed to “warmongering”, when in fact it was his clear aim; in general, few folks opposed to war end up training with al Qaeda.
I hope that, one day, we get to hear the real story of David Hicks - in his own unencumbered words.
You could start here, Hutch. Totally unencumbered!
