CURSE FROM GOD
You just can’t make this up:
As 6000 delegates and observers began arriving in jumbo jets in Nairobi for the annual global summit on fighting climate change ...
Beautiful. Stand by for another protest-driven cold snap:
On Saturday, to coincide with the conference, up to 4000 people from across Kenya - including a group of Masai herders - marched, chanted and sang in a demonstration against climate change.
Locals seem to have grasped the religious component evident in globey warm-mongering:
Mrs Ailo, a farmer and pastoralist in her 30s, said: “People are saying, ‘Maybe it’s a curse from God that the climate has changed”’.
Actually, according to the Guardian, warming is caused by the curse of digital broadcasting:
Digital broadcasting is increasing the threat of global warming by pumping massive amounts of extra carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, official figures suggest. The millions of Britons who listen to the radio through their power-hungry digital televisions and computers together release an extra 190,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide a year.
Hmm. Wonder how that compares to all those inbound jumbos.
