YOUTHS PUNCHY

What is it with water and Middle Eastern youths?

Stunned witnesses said about 30 youths had punched and kicked staff, including a young woman, on the grass at Oak Park Aquatic Centre about 4pm yesterday.

One witness, Alex, said families had recoiled in horror at the bashings.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” Alex said.

“I thought, ‘Not another Cronulla’.

“There seemed to be dozens of people involved, with most wading into the staff and people trying to help them.

“They all appeared to be Middle-Eastern youths.

“It was very upsetting and scary. There were hysterical children everywhere.”

Nicholas Burt, leisure manager at Moreland Council, which runs the pool, said the riot had occurred after a male lifeguard had tried to calm two teenagers arguing on the grass embankment.

Lifeguards, lifesavers ... why, they’re a root cause.

UPDATE. Great line from a Lebanese-descended lifesaver who rescued a race-hate victim: “I am Australian and I am not captured by my background. I was born here.”

Did you see the way they presented the recent footage of the attack by that large cowardly gang of Middle Eastern ‘men’ on that completely defenceless individual the other night??? Astounding is one word which comes to mind when describing the ABC’s treatment of this story, disgusting is another, and so is CORRUPT!
Political correctness increasingly seems to mean omitting important detail and essentially not telling the truth!

A young girl in Tehran in 1981:

...Arrested for swimming in her home pool in a bathing suit, she was found guilty of causing “a state of sexual arousal” in a neighbor from whose house she could be seen. She was sentenced to sixty lashes in April 1981, but she died after the thirtieth lash.

Like massing in streets, firing rifles in the air ,lot of fun in that, witnessing spectacles like stoning naughty women, cutting hands off naughty men.
These unfortunate kids have been dragged away from all that to live in a boring country like OZ where people are not brainwashed and choose to think for themselves.
I would suggest some of our taxes be used to give these unfortunates the trip of a lifetime, a one way ticket back to where they belong.  ASAP.

Theodore Dalrymple, a retired prison doctor, on the UK experience.

However similar young Muslim men might be in their tastes to young white men, they would be horrified, and indeed turn extremely violent, if their sisters comported themselves as young white women do. They satisfy their sexual needs with prostitutes and those whom they quite openly call “white sluts.” (Many a young white female patient of mine has described being taunted in this fashion as she walked through a street inhabited by Muslims.) And, of course, they do not have to suffer much sexual frustration in an environment where people decide on sexual liaisons within seconds of acquaintance.

  25. I wonder what these “youths’” parents teach them, and what they really think on the rare occasions when their kids are pulled before a court to account for their savegery.

Judging from the reactions of parents at the Sydney rape trials, one can guess that the parents ignore or condone this barbarism. If not, then a pattern of parental inadequacy or neglect repeats itself ad infinitum through a certain religious demographic throughout the civilised world (yes, in the US too, only on a smaller scale)

What do you do with guests like this living next door ?  We have all seen the analagous situation in France, the wider Eurabia and more recently Sydney.

Another interesting analogy is from Lebanon itself. What wonderful guests that the Palestinians proved to be ! What kind and considerate neighbours ! Perhaps moving in and trashing the place, taking over, victimising your hosts, and massacring them are all part of the course for “a certain demographic”.

What do all of these shows of savagery and ingratitude have in common ?

The example of Muhammad’s Hijra from Mecca to Medina. The Prophet paved the way for his followers moving in, freeloading and mercilessly taking over. Gratitude, humility and deference are concepts alien to the Ummah…

  37. O/T but to do with politcal correctness and multi-culti crap,

SCIENCE curriculums in Australian schools are becoming dangerously unscientific as education departments bow to the politically correct dogma of cultural relativism.

Teachers and academics claim students are being taught “sandpit science” dictated by a dumbed-down syllabus that ignores basic scientific teaching.
They say so-called “outcomes-based education” portrays science as subjective and culturally determined, and encourages students to treat established scientific principles with scepticism and disdain.

    here

and then Kevin Donnelly’s article which states in part:

Those familiar with the culture wars in the US, where new-age, politically correct academics argue that Galileo, Newton and Einstein are simply dead white European males and there is nothing superior or privileged about Western civilisation, will be familiar with the argument.

As noted by Gibbons: “The implication is that Western science is a limited social construction and that other cultural sciences can make up for the limitations of Western science.”

In addition to arguing that science is culturally determined, Australia’s curriculum embodies a postmodern, constructivist view of knowledge. Constructivism places the student centre stage by arguing that learners construct their own learning and that more formal, explicit methods of teaching are unwarranted.

Constructivists also suggest that learning is subjective as there is no external reality and each one of us constructs our own intensely personal and idiosyncratic view of the world. The result? Learning is defined as engaging and entertaining students and process takes precedence over content. On reading state and territory science curriculum, it is also obvious that Australia’s approach is based more on teaching politically correct ideas and values than giving students a rigorous and objective grounding in science as a subject.

I’m off to cook me some pork chops with apple sauce. Mmmmmm.

  39. It all comes down to the fault of their mothers.  These lads have always seen mum as being dirty and underclass, the one told by dad what to do and then by any male in the house, father actually owns mummy in certain sects of the ‘M’ religion.  The major female in this child’s life is a pliant, down trodden, piece of chattle, who believes she should be.  These spirited boys have never been told they are wrong by her or anyone else in the family.  They have never been told no.  Their mothers bring them up like they are little versions of dad (lord and master). The fathers have about as much contact and in put into thier up bringing as any 1950’s father or of that matter any medieval lord with a kingdom to run.  So it is only natural than when they come across some of this country’s more secular males and females they become aggressive when they are told ‘no’.

There is also a cult of male in the ‘M’ religion where, since these boysterous young ones aren’t allowed to consort in any fashion with females outside their immediate family (Aussie sluts are not females, you’ve been told that before!!), they have a rogue elephant herd mentality and when one of them takes offence (ie told ‘no’ like mummy NEVER said) it’s perfectaly all right to get hysterically upset and since all of his cohorts have been brought up the same way they see it as no problem to become likewise hysterically upset as well, in fact how dare that person (see - singular - never ever more than one at a time, kittens) insult my/our manhood (something apparently very easily insulted) which says it all really doesn’t it not very robust egos, mummies boys, self centred, racist.

You’ve just got to blame their mums not them.

  46. I’m out of town but did a search of The Age site and couldn’t find one word about this Moreland incident. Maybe my search was faulty, but didn’t The Age run about 1 billion pages of coverage of Cronulla, in another State? But it runs nothing about Moreland/Oak Park acquatic centre?
Oops my bad. I search even harder, and find The Age ran a story about the hot day in general terms, and buried in the middle was this:
At the Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre in Doncaster, administration director Fiona Miller said: “There’s not that much swimming space but the crowd has been well behaved.”

The swim centre had called in extra staff to cope with more than double the usual number of Sunday patrons. More than 3200 turned up yesterday to escape the heat.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the heat might have frayed tempers at Oak Park Aquatic Centre in Melbourne’s north on Saturday, when about 30 youths had reportedly assaulted staff.[/

In journalese, the word “reportedly” means your own paper missed the story originally. It can also mean you don’t believe an assertion but are repeating it for the record.
It seems The Age doesn’t consider the poolside affray by ME youths newsworthy.
