WORD HEADS NORTH

Mark Steyn has his say on the Bashford matter. In other Steyn-connected news, Calgary’s Rob Breakenridge introduces beclowned to Canadian airwaves:

Steyn’s Critics: Still Beclowning Themselves

Calgary thus preserves Alberta’s “Most Favoured Province” status.

  1. Haven’t been there in many many years, but we lived in southern Alberta for 3 years, in a tiny farming community with a school (7 teachers, 100 students gr1-8), 6 teacher houses, a post office, a bus barn, the postmistress’ & bus driver’s home (they were married with 4 or 5 kids), all at a crossroads about 20 miles from the blacktop. Way out on the prairie. Children’s Hospital in Calgary saved my sorry little butt long long ago so I am a Flames & Stampeders fan, too.

Alberta will always be #1 Province for me.

  2. Clowns drive small cars and pack them twenty apiece, they also ride miniscule bicycles. Greenies drive small underpowered cars and pack them full of car-poolers or ride bicycles designed to use the minimum of resources. Coincidence?

and maxium annoyance to motorised commuters.

Though motor scooters are marginally worse, they can drive anywhere in the lane, and if they are truly annoying, they’ll weave all over the road and if you pass them they’ll abuse you at the next stop (if they can catch you).

What exactly do they think is causing Climate Change anxiety health issues? Wouldn’t have anything to do with the bullshit reported on the ABC (now) / MSM?

  4. O/T again, sorry… anyone seen this article in The New American?

    From the above link:

However, for many of the world’s leading scientists in the fields of meteorology, climatology, physics, astrophysics, and related sciences, the science is far from settled, Al Gore’s media accolades notwithstanding.
