WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE EUROPEAN UNION?

Further to earlier news of Danish support, French supermarket chain Carrefour now lines up against the Danes.

  1. Boycott France (easy) buy Danish!

  2. Well, look at it this way.  Carrefour’s surely gets more looters and shoplifters from the banlieus than it does from Copenhagen.  They have to address the needs of their customer base.

  3. Did anyone expect something more from the French?

They were bought and paid for by Saddam, and just to remind them, they had several thousands of vehicles combust.

    Ze French know their place.

  4. You’ve got to admit one thing, the French definitely always know which side their bread is buttered on (pun not intended). Not really surprising to see Carrefour pull that stunt, what with the number of Muslims in France being in the low double-digit percentages or so…

  5. Is there any truth to the rumour that Carrefour is changing its name to Vichy? I bet they’ll have a great logo; maybe something like a multi-armed cross to show how they’re willing to embrace the Islamic shopping world.

  6. The Non-Muslims in France should boycott Carrefour.

Just as long as it isn’t anything that resembles the Arabic for Allah.

  8. So much for EU solidarity.  Too bad so many cannot see that it’s the Danes today for some cartoons, and it will be them tomorrow for some other minor or imaginary transgression.  This is radical Muslims trying it on, to coerce the West into conforming to their demands.  Appeasement and surrender will become easier the more you practice them.

  10. A wincy but OT but I was watching the Winter Olympics and when the female moguls (sp?) skiers were on the start line the Danish and Nowegian Skiers had their own personal bodyguards standing on the line next to them.  No body else had them.  Sad to see this necessary - good to see the Italians taking their responsibilities seriously.

  11. Evidently Carrefour is owned by the Al-Futaim Group, a UAE corporation.

So it barely seems fair to slag off at the French using this as an example.
