Delightfully cheesy film clip too.
George was a genuine F1 fan. Story was once he was at a Grand Prix and got talking to one of the drivers who didn’t recognise him. What do you do the driver asked? “I used to play in a band” george replied.
I’d forgotten that song too, though once he started hearing it I recognized it. It became a minor hit, but they don’t play it much these days.

Everyone pretended not to notice them which was great - but it was hard not to go and get their autographs though

Good old George. I think he and Ringo may have been the smartest two Beatles after all.
