6. Wow haven’t heard that one for over twenty years. I remember the album it was off. Always liked that song.

   Delightfully cheesy film clip too.

   George was a genuine F1 fan. Story was once he was at a Grand Prix and got talking to one of the drivers who didn’t recognise him. What do you do the driver asked? “I used to play in a band” george replied.

7. I’d forgotten that song too, though once he started hearing it I recognized it. It became a minor hit, but they don’t play it much these days.

8. Many years ago, in Adelaide during the F1 Grand Prix weekend, we were in a restaurant when in walked George Harrison and his good friend, Barry Sheene champion motor bike rider and fabulous V8 Supercar commentator

   Everyone pretended not to notice them which was great - but it was hard not to go and get their autographs though

   There, that’s my George Harrison story

9. Yeah, I remember that song from my college days.  For some reason, those George Harrison songs from that specific time really sunk in deep, so that even now if I hear them (and it’s been years), I immediately think of Freshman year.

   Good old George.  I think he and Ringo may have been the smartest two Beatles after all.
