SON DECLINES TO RISE
A big media development:
News Corporation deputy chief operating officer Lachlan Murdoch has resigned his position as one of the world’s most powerful media executives and will move from New York to Australia.
News chairman and chief executive Rupert Murdoch announced last night that his eldest son had decided to resign from his executive roles.
This’ll shake things up.
Maybe Lachlan Murdoch is going to work on Algores’ new network.

5. He is a solid conservative, more so than his trendy left brother James, so it’s all a shame, I think. Perhaps he’ll be back but I doubt it
Posted by Andrew Landeryou on 2005 07 29 at 05:00 PM • permalinkPerhaps this is the time to announce that I have recruited fellow former philosophy student Lachlan Murdoch, who’ll be writing barbed, witty insider media pieces for Blithering Bunny, as well as driving me around and being my butler.
Posted by Blithering Bunny on 2005 07 29 at 06:22 PM • permalinkImagine how Kerry Packer would react if James did the same thing . . . analysts have been saying for years that News Corporations share price is discounted by the prospect of Lachlan, James or Elizabeth taking over.
Watch Wendy Deng.

Even that was worth it for the picture of Murdoch at the wedding, surrounded by his new in-laws in leopard skin traditional dress. Anyway she dumped Bongo and married one of the Freuds—leading James to remark in his wedding speech that the groom had better be well endowed because his sister was accustomed to a black man!
Can’t find a photo on the Web, but if anyone has a link they should post it. The look on LRM’s face is priceless. He couldn’t look more embarrassed if someone had mistook him for Fred Hilmer.o/t Interesting two articles in the Brit’s Telegraph.
One. English born London bomber is the son of a Jamaican born Social Worker.
Two. GERMAN SOCIAL WORKERS TARGET U.K.
Germany’s social workers are flocking to the U.K.Shortage of jobs in Germany and high demand in Britain-150 since January.
SO DESPERATE ARE BRITISH COUNCILS FOR REINFORCEMENTS THAT THEY ARE OFFERING A THIRD HIGHER SALARY,plus free flights and housekeeping help.
SCORES MORE are lined up to come this summer.Germany’s economic problems have seen drastic cuts in the welfare system with 20% of social workers being laid off.
One social worker, wife of a geneticist can earn 27,OOO pounds a year.
“So many of my friends in the profession feel they have no job security, while in the U.K. they’re welcoming me with open arms.”A few questions for Andy Landeryou. I saw a picture of you in the paper the other day and I was wondering which of your three chins is your actual chin? And secondly has anyone ever called you Mr Potato-head? Thanks.

Posted by Aging Gamer on 2005 07 30 at 04:27 AM • permalink#15 Crash, wasn’t it interesting that one of the London tube bombers was a teacher’s aide (?) who had special experience in ‘anti-bullying workshops’? Is it just my imagination, or does this kind of nanny-state crap have a strange attraction for violent psychotics? Apparently he was particularly keen on acting out the role of the bully. It’s the old joke: a man is brutally mugged and left lying in the gutter - a social worker rushes up and exclaims, “Quick, somebody get help for the poor man who did this”.
Yeah cuckoo and how come model multicultural open country Britain needs SO many social workers.
O’T sbs news for SPECIAL people has the latest on arrests of terrorists(oops Dennis the Menaces) immediately followed by the funeral in Brazil of the tragic victim shot in the underground.
Also item on President Musharref of Pakistan banning foreign students from Madrassas or Islamic schools.
Saucy Le Lin Chen in stentorian tones growled"MOST DON’T teach extremist views but some are HARD LINE.
BUT the president is TAKING A RISK, Ian Bedford of Macquarie University says.”
Ian Bedford-“I would IMAGINE A GREAT MANY ARMED STUDENTS WOULD COME OUT ONTO THE STREETS BECAUSE OF THIS.”
Next item-“Prof Andrew Fraser has been BANNED FROM TEACHING BY Macquarie Uuniversity.“stops to wash her mouth out with soap…..Deo, really? Which paper was that mate?

I have a friend (lucky me), who has a mother (now there is a surprise), who has a friend who is also a friend of Lachlan’s wife.
The message travelling down this bit of the grapevine is that the story about Murdoch Junior wanting to spend more time with his family is substantially the truth.

there was actually another even more fetching photo in glorious B&W somewhere on Darren Ray’s site, but sadly it seems to have gone missing - tragic really
and what about that site? where are the promised explanations of Marbain, Sachsen etc?
In that story from the Age:
“Mr Landeryou, who does not face any charges, was released this week from the Melbourne Assessment Prison ...”
Assessment prison, what the heck is that? Is that debtor’s prison, or is it just regular old county jail?

Perhaps this is a way of getting around media ownership laws. Public split then he is free to by into more Australian media outlets expanding the Murdoch Media Empire.
Now. To go to some moonbat sites, include Bush and watch it spread around the internet…
Gruntled,
Don’t! Do you really think the moonbats need your help imagining inane conspiracy theories? Besides, in the absence of any other inspiration they can always fall back on blaming it on the Jews, a sort of zero-energy point accusation for quantum conspiracism.Watch out for them bananas.
