SEEMS REASONABLE ENOUGH
Outside Berkeley City Hall, February 12:
I don’t think the indicated attitude exactly supports Dr Rowan Williams’ notion of “ways in which reasonable accommodation might be made within existing arrangements for religious conscience.” A good thing, too.

Now that is just spiffy.:)
Hi Ash! Up late with the bub?

The Berkeley city council told the Marine recruiting center there that they were unwelcome, unwanted intruders and that they should leave. That’s part of the ensuing protest. All of the background stuff at Michelle Malkin’s

She was part of the protest AGAINST the city council and the Code Stink idiots that have been harassing Marines.

"Anti-war” demonstrators in Berkeley were carrying signs yesterday that said: Treason to America is loyalty to humanity.
I thought it was nice to see leftys frankly admitting to being traitors. Honesty is a virtue rarely seen amongst the left wing scum.

You never can tell what’s going to come out of Berkeley. For example, I was born there.

The Berkeley city council, mayor, and the Code Stink cretins can go into the woods and fuck themselves with a unwashed bong.
Posted by The_Real_JeffS on 2008 02 14 at 03:46 PM • permalinkyojimbo, I shall make that correction now:
The Berkeley Police Department can go into the woods and fuck themselves with a loaded pistol.
Posted by The_Real_JeffS on 2008 02 14 at 05:08 PM • permalinkIt takes balls (I mean, a clitoris) to say that. Good on her.

"I am here to protest the trial of civilians in front of a military tribunal as this is a violation to international law,” said Sheehan, who gained fame in the U.S. for her sit-in outside President Bush’s Texas ranch following the death of her son in Iraq.
Clueless about a lot of things.
"As a mother of a son who was killed in the war
And this is her “claim to fame”.
What if her son had not died?
She’s disgusting.
"That’s just it Dave. You are FROM Berkeley.”
Yeah, well I got fed up living in a town that required me to buy a permit to park in front of my own house, and at the same time let homeless bums camp on the sidewalk and urinate/defecate in the streets (no permit required for that), and refused to do anything about drug dealers plying their trade right in front of the junior high school on my street.
That kind of stuff gets annoying after awhile.

We use dog in the same way here. Also as slang for your homeboy..."wassup dog”
Posted by Old Tanker on 2008 02 14 at 07:02 PM • permalinkI kinda feel sorry for the Berkeley cops. They’ve been ordered by the city government not to interfere in the illegal activities of the “anti-war” (i.e. pro-anybody that’s against America) loons...and I can tell that they don’t much like it.
Some of them anyway.
Posted by Dave Surls on 2008 02 14 at 07:12 PM • permalinkWhile I would probably not be game to tell this feisty little person anything much (lest she bust me up), I did happen to notice she seems to have written on the back of her sign (- doesn’t the handle go on the back ?) . Unless she has a double sider happening…
Possibly she is not in the Engineering faculty ?Or was it a practical joke with someone showing her the front of the sign which says something rather more inocuous and not the back which she was oblivious to ...??
What about the 3000 people just going about their daily business on 9/11 in the twin towers, does the left ever protest against that atrocity. A few thousand people die in Iraq because the U.S. gets rid of a tyrant who treated his people like shit and OH MY GOD! George Bush is the most evil guy on earth, the moronic leftoids ignorance is palpable.
#42 This will cause colitoral damage to the left.

Treason and state sponsored truancy
Twenty years ago I told my wife “We’re not raising our kids in this town. Start packing.” Smartest thing I ever did.
