I don’t think the indicated attitude exactly supports Dr Rowan Williams’ notion of “ways in which reasonable accommodation might be made within existing arrangements for religious conscience.” A good thing, too.

    Yeah, well I got fed up living in a town that required me to buy a permit to park in front of my own house, and at the same time let homeless bums camp on the sidewalk and urinate/defecate in the streets (no permit required for that), and refused to do anything about drug dealers plying their trade right in front of the junior high school on my street.

    That kind of stuff gets annoying after awhile.

    Possibly she is not in the Engineering faculty ?

    Or was it a practical joke with someone showing her the front of the sign which says something rather more inocuous and not the back which she was oblivious to ...??
