  2. Hubba, hubba! Material enough for a dozen of Detective Paco’s femmes fatales!

    Love that 1940’s look!

  5. I do need a decent calendar for the office….this would be appropriate, being for the vets and all!  Those official calendars are so boring.

  6. Betty Page never looked that good.

  7. I don’t know that I’d go that far, yojimbo. Then again, we’ve got a whole twelve months to consider the question. Consider it very carefully indeed… oh yes, lots and lots of consideration…

  8. One of the other soldiers in the medical platoon (SGT Womack) bought a satellite setup in the desert on the economy.  Haji put the dish on the roof and ran the wire down to his room through the window.  Most of the channels were in Arabic given that we could only pick up local satellites, but there were three that we could find which broadcast (mostly) in English: CNN International, the BBC and Spice Platinum.

Actually, that last one could have broadcast in Urdu for all we cared (not that we ever watched, that would have been a violation of general order #1).

Pinups are cool and all, but maybe Iowahawk could help the guys get a dish.

  10. I’m speechless.  Well, comment-less, anyway.

  11. There all either a bit over dressed, or facing in the wrong dirrection…

The pic of the girl in the bikini and what seemed like quite a hefty pair of boots must do it for a lot of the old grunts???

  12. I’ve been studying the pictures very closely.  I must say they’re damn near perfect.  I especially like the one of the gal wearing lacy gloves.  So feminine.  And I must say the one of her baking does seem to activate the taste buds.  Yes.

And it’s supported by the VFW!  It’s patriotic.  It would be treasonous not to buy it.  (which is what I will be telling my wife when she undoubtedly will intercept it when she looks through the mail)

  13. Wron, whe’ll probably just be asking where her edition of “Rock Hard Marine Studs” is???

    Going by the same logic…

  14. whe’ll…  she’ll…

that ‘w’ and ‘s’ are so close together….

  15. I’m a girl, and I approve.

But yeah, a “rock-hard Marine” calendar would be a nice accompaniment.

  17. ``...where’s the Marine calendar for the women soldiers?’‘

Jeez, how often do I have to keep reminding you people?  You should have ordered your calendars by now:

  18. #17, A thousand pardons, Sonetka’s Mom.  I knew I’d seen that somewhere, but I lost the link.  Thanks much, yum!

  19. I bought one of the Marine calendars for a friend…...she liked it as well!

I also forwarded the VFW and Marine links to a lot of friends and relatives.  Just in case they needed a calendar, y’know?

  21. Geez, is it safe to come back yet.

I’ve been known to be wrong.

I do agree that further consideration of the issue would seem to be the appropriate course of action here!

Well, she does have better bangs!  Yes, I did say bangs, as in hair, and not….

  22. Thanks, Sonetka’s Mom! I was in the bookstore yesterday looking at all the calendars, but none of them had that certain something I look for every year.
