Rocky has pulled through - thanks to Zap the 63 kilogram rottweiler.

The SMH also reports: “20 people had offered to help fund Rocky’s operation, which is likely to cost between $4000 and $6000.”

UPDATE. Dan Lewis: “The Lancet reports the operation is likely to cost between $40000000000000 and $60000000000000000000.”

  3. Dogs don’t have blood types as such, and are really easy to transfuse unlike humans, especially Jehovahs Witnesses. A lot of vets have a panel of blood donors- our hounds are on one at our local vet, and onlt get siphoned every six months or so.
