She had a heart attack Thursday night. She says she over-reacted and deleted her email address, and she’s sorry if any notes to her are being returned. I have read messages from your site, which is her favorite. Her prognosis is good, and we hope to have her home very soon.

    When I joined the family a month or so ago Andrea said that she tries to keep the registered members on Tim’s site down to a reasonable number.  I didn’t know that what she meant was that when new folks are added she has to “delete” someone.

  56. Oh man! As a lurker who enjoys Tim’s posts as well as his commenters, I must say you’ll be sorely missed.. you’ve a special kind of snark, you do.

    I’m sitting here watching a family receive a new house on “extreme makeover” (crying my eyes out), after a 12 hour shift and getting a speeding ticket on the way home, and BAM!.. I read this, and it kind of puts life in a diff light.

    A gal I don’t know from Eve has a heart attack, and this RWDB thinks that Soros had something to do with it. Methinks Paco Inc will do something about it though. ;)

    Look here, sister-woman, you rest and do everything you’re told to do so that you can get back here where you belong.  There’s no one else who speaks my mind the way you do!  I might have to start posting everyday, and nobody wants that.

  87. #84 I’ve made some nice vegetable soup which should be fine. I blend as many vegetables as I can get my hands on, add in some lamb barbeque chops, simmer it until the meat falls off the bone, and then get all the bones off. It is delightful.

    Leave news, politics and current affairs behind for a while and watch some soapies or something far less stressful. I had to learn that the hard way myself.
    Believe me, although I haven’t had a heart attack or anything like that, I know people who have, and for most of them it was a life-changing event. The changes in priorities and lifestyle for these individuals were far more rewarding than they ever could have imagined. I hope it’s that way for you too ;-)
