One didn’t need confirmation of the idiocy of Richard “drivel” Neville, or that Denton is not the insightful sage he’s cracked up to be. Credit, however, to David Williamson for that line about corporate executives and sociopathic behaviour - it is an observable fact that corporations reward it and therefore encourage it. Naming names would be a drawn out process. In view of the terrible happenings on P&O ships, a little revision of the derision of Williamson on that subject might be in order too. While I would not be signing up for a “Gough & Margaret Politico-Historical Cruise “, some remediation of P&O cruise rules (or lack of them) might be in order.
I don’t know Blogstrop. I always thought that one of those tours organised during the eighties led by Gough and Margaret would have been very entertaining to go on. I am sure they would be very amusing company. Hopefully Gough would be sensible enough to leave the ‘I was robbed’ speech until the end, when the rest of the tour group could treat it like a stand up comedy routine.

Rather odd, coming from the author of “Puberty Blues”.A classic Moonbat comment from an arch (US) feminist claiming on ABC Radio in the late 80s that “VCRs were invented for men to watch pornography” - something Sony & Philips would no doubt be curious about ... the people they let near a mic.
... handycams were invented for Paris Hilton’s “home videos”?
Phillip Adams comes up with a you-beaut theory about why the governor-general, Sir John Kerr, dismissed Gough Whitlam’s Labor Government and installed Malcolm Fraser as prime minister in 1975. According to Adams, Kerr was a closet homosexual and “the G-G had fallen out of love with Gough and into love with Malcolm”. He foretells that his thesis “won’t find itself into learned tomes or PhDs on constitutional crises”. Fancy that.
Apart from being comedy gold, the Adams quote is kind of perplexing. I’ve spent my life trying to nut out just what happened in 1975, thinking it was a hugely complex intersection between politics and constitutional law, and it was just about closet “gaiety”! And nice to see another lefty journalist suggesting that there might actually be “something wrong with that”.
And the resort to lowest common denominator journalism is here too. You can’t admire someone unless you’re “in love with” them. You can’t dislike someone or something, with being a “-phobe” (eg. homophobe) or an “-ist” (eg. racist, chauvinist).

Actually, this raises more questions about Philco’s orientation, although I believe the term is ‘warehouse homosexual.’
