Caldicott has enjoyed decades of softballs from friendly journalists. World’s changed, Helen.

  2. Caldicott sounds like she’s a direct descendant of the same bacteria that split off Germaine Greer. Probably a toxiform E.coli.

  7. Radio Debates? Here she’d only go on the ABC and be handled respectfully, as per some living national treasure. Like Barry Jones yesterday - promoting his new book - ABC classic FM in the morning, AM 702 in the afternoon, 7.30 report in the evening, and maybe ome others I’ve missed.
    Tonight’s 7.30 report is taking up the Dixie Chicks story. How will they handle that, do you think?

  9. I remember watching Helen Caldicott on C-Span once and being struck by how smug and condescending she was--and rather insulting to Americans, I thought.
