The arguments in comments were probably the only reason most people bothered visiting - take away the debates, no one goes there any more.

If you examine blogs in general you will see that comments are made by all sorts of people with odd names: 1.618 or Tungsten Monk or The _Real_Jeffs. It’s just the way it goes.
But on Loewenstein’s blog his comments are made by people who all have serious first names and serious surnames.
These sock puppets come out in a burst, then disappear and are not seeen for weeks. Guess he invents his serious commentators when he has time on his hands.
Then when he is run off his feet with reviews and interviews for his world-famous -best-selling-Nobel Peace Prize winning book—he simply doesn’t have time to invent sock puppets.
As for his latest piece in The Age. I nearly died laughing when I read his claim that he is a supporter of Arabs and Israelis. That man can lie. He simply doesn’t understand that lies is lies and people remember what he said last time and the time before that. Guess what Antony? We see you for the lying little prick that you are.
I just can’t take the fool seriously anymore. He is a joke. He is a sicko and he sure as hell cannot write. I just love the new favourite word: “seeming” oh and sometimes after he uses it in too many consecutive sentences he even turns it into an adverb “seemingly” Gosh, gosh, his command of English is all too much.
Well, after getting published in The Age, his stats are still tanking at an average 223 per day.
This is in spite of referrals from looney conspiracy site whatreallyhappened.com.
Gosh Fairfax know how to get the numbers don’t they? They deserve everything they get and less.
He also doesn’t observe Rosh Hashanah. He actually posted in his blog on the day when Jews traditionally fast and contemplete, and he probably eats pork.

You are quite right. I visit his site periodically in a masochistic fit. I know Tim and JF Beck do, as do a number of other people who believe he is a tool. I’m sure the number of ‘genuine’ visitors, and people who actually want to read him, is significantly lower. It must be a Zionist plot…
