PROTECT THE LITTLE BOLOS

French students demonstrating against inequality have been attacked by poor immigrants who envy their wealth:

Hundreds of young rioters from poor Paris suburbs disrupted the demonstration on March 8, beating teenagers to the ground and stealing mobile telephones and cameras.

Le Monde newspaper carried disturbing interviews with attackers and victims in last week’s trouble - both sides agreeing that the violence was exclusively carried out on white boys and girls by black and Arab teenagers.

"If I went, it was not to demonstrate but to take telephones and beat people up. There were groups of people running about stirring things up, and in the middle these idiots - these little French people just asking for it,” an 18-year-old of Tunisian origin called Heikel said.

"We came to demonstrate against inequalities and we got beaten up. It’s as if they thought that we - the ‘white Parisians’ - had plenty of money, that we could buy a new mobile phone tomorrow,” said Tristan Goldbronn, 16, who was badly hurt.

Heikel, who attends a secondary school in the area, told Le Monde that the mainly white Parisian students who took part in the march - known in street parlance as “bolos” - were seen as spoilt and privileged, and therefore fair game.

"A bolo - he’s a sitting duck, a victim,” he said.

Local bolos continue to protest about perceived inequalities in Australia – although, as the Professor points out, they sometimes fail to complete their homework.

  1. This brings back something from a book I haven’t looked at in ten years: “My Traitor’s Heart.”

The author and a reporter friend of his are watching a demonstration by South African blacks. Into the demo comes a white girl, trying to somehow get into formation with a group of women, trying to show that she’s with them. They ignore her completely. The reporter friend says “Oh, honey. When the day comes, you’ll still be whitey.”

    Sick situation all around, really.

  2. Hehehehe.
    Now that’s kind of ironic.

Then again, who doesn’t want to beat up the French and take their lunch money?

  4. Combined GPA of 2.5 amongst those students protesting.

You could say get back to class, but since they’re probably doing Arts, there’s no point.

  5. I smell a financial opportunity here.  Has anyone translated The Turner Diaries into French?

If you can find the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion in every newsstand in the Middle East, it seems only fair…

  10. Thanks, Spiny, I can get to the Expatica website, just not the article and couldn’t find it by loafing around Expatica either. It’s from the 8th so maybe they just took it down. Unless you were able to go there yourself today. Thanks anyway.

  11. "A bolo - he’s a sitting duck, a victim, he said.

I wonder if this clueless dickhead realizes that there are a hell of a lot more “bolos” in France than “North Africans”. As much as I loathe the French smug passivity, if this nonsense keeps up, I expect there will be nativist movements crop up that will make Le Pen look like a paragon of tolerance.

  14. Well, it seems that someone should point out that the injured whites were not entirely innocent here.  They obviously created the conditions that generated the root causes that created this unfortunate incident.

What root causes?  Well arrogance for one.  And imperialist tendencies.  And other stuff.

Everyone is hurt here.  The assailants because of all the injustice they’ve suffered in their lifetimes and the injured whites because, well, they got whooped like little girls.  But the thing to remember here is that no one is more wrong than the other.

In fact, we can use this as an example to learn from.  Specifically, why the French had it coming.  And when it happens again, well, they had it coming again.  And if it continues, they have it coming all those times too.  Because of root causes.  Those roots don’t just go away, you know.

And remember, there is no wrong party here.  Only misunderstandings.

  15. The French along with so many sickening canadian leftist moonbats see themselves as a morally superior race. coming to the “aid of the “oppressed minorities”.
The deep seated ANTI AMERICANISM of the French intelligantsia will make sure that such events are firmly blamed on america, whose Iraqi intervention is the root cause of all the evils committed by muslims- even those evils committed before the intervention.

  16. What I love about this, besides the fact that a group of privileged French kids got slapped around by the very people they were trying to show their solidarity with (where have we heard that before?), besides that, they got a French Government security detail to guard them while they protested the government’s policies (among the most liberal in Europe)! If irony were sunshine they’d all have a righteous burn.

Which side of these groups is going to survive?  Compare and contrast.

Well, that’s a dead giveaway- Tristan Goldbronn.  It’s obviously this incident was set up by the jews to incite hatred against muslims and blacks.

    Yes, he is.

  22. On the contrary wronwright, the white students were much more to blame. Although you are correct in saying that all sides in this cycle of violence are to blame, some blame is more equal than others. The French people’s patronising, racist, and totally unfounded prejudices - that blacks and muslims like to beat up silly French people and steal their valuables - humiliated, inflamed and oppressed the blacks and muslims, causing them to beat up silly French people and steal their valuables.

  27. So, this was injured third worlders getting back at imperialist colonisers?
    I see it differently.
This is a country that had a very well defined image of its own culture. No shame in that. They have been a colonial power in various parts of the world. That is largely over, and by no means unique to France.
They have been very welcoming of people from all over the world, even Khomenei, who fomented the Iranian revolution from France via tape recordings.
Whatever the failings of the French during this very trying period (or actually, forever)they do not deserve to have their accommodating policy thrown back at them in the form of street violence. They may deserve to have things explained to them forcefully, in the area of foreign policy.
But it is inevitable that they and all of us will encounter an abrupt, uncompromising lesson in reality as the population of cultural vandals increases in all of our societies. We have been warned. We act, or fail to act, listen or do not listen, at our own peril. The rules are dead. Fight for your lives. And don’t take part in stupid lefty demos.

  31. They are terrified of the people they think they are protecting, and they have no idea whatsoever who these folks really are. They have romanticised the world’s “poor” not understanding the true nature of their wants, i.e., their cell phones, etc. And they obviously thought they were going to be seen as being “in solidarity” with them. Which retrieves only scorn and glee from the lucky recipients: We want your cell phones, but we don’t want you.
