Earlier this month, Annan accepted from the ruler of Dubai an environmental prize of $500,000—a fat sum that represents the latest in a long series of glaring conflicts of interest. Call this one Cash-for-Kofi.
Annan received his award at a glittering February 6 ceremony in Dubai, as outlined in a press release from Annan’s office that noted the honor, but neglected to mention the half million bucks that came with it.

Your first statement is correct sir...rotten, rotten to the core...the entire premises need to be bulldozed in NYC and moved to...say Ghana...but would Kofi get the same air time? Certainly he would continue his skills of skimming money from the world, the TV cameras would be missing, though.
As to Kofi, his statement....The current Secretary-General is Kofi Annan. His appointment began on January 1, 1997, and his second term began on January 1, 2002. “I am a cheerleader, I am a promoter, I am a salesman, I am a debt collector, I am a father confessor and there are other aspects I still have to discover,” Annan has said in describing his job.
Kofi, you left out, thief AND what do you call a person that allows troops under his direct control, rape, murder, pillage and burn?
One last thing, before the U.N. is bulldozed, allow this person to enter U.S. airspace, one last time....:).
The UN should be shifted to the poorest most malnourished country in the world. This should speed up some of the resolutions a little, and at least they will all have some first hand experience of poverty then.

Consider this a pre-emptory warning, but not an actual warning as such, just an expression of the possibility of concern and indeed, concern above regular concern levels.
