OF THE QUESTION THERE IS BUT ONE

Bosler the Magnificent—may the winning energy be upon him—is back:

White to black, desert to forest, somewhere at some time and in some way we ask why.

Of answers there are many. Varied. Of the question there is but one. And we all share it, side by side.

We all ask why. And in this, at the very least, we remain magnificent as one.

I’ve already run this through the Bosler Decoder; turns out he’s talking about Collingwood’s win over the West Coast Eagles! White to black, desert to forest ...

  1. Re the Bosler Decoder, I hope you are not having a lend of us Tim!  What is the big steering wheel for?

  3. I’ve worked out the problem with Margo and Bosler and co, and what we can do about it.  Here.

  4. This forum, this beautiful wellspring that is Webdiary which speaks so uniquely the voice of our small corner of humanity, is daily bubbling over with gut-given substance from each of those inner depths we plumb when we are moved by the fundamental need of having asked of ourselves why. So many wonderful voices, speaking, in essence, as one! Speaking in response to that singular question.

Don’t we share this need wonderfully!

Isn’t it so, that we link together, all of us, and down we go, deep into what matters to us, within us, when we ask that fundamental question. And we dive in together not only with each other, but with those who are still too young, and with those not yet born. We do it for them, and we do it with them, with them in our hearts. How many people in the world, and how many children yet to come?

This, we all share, and this we share as one.

MY GOD! What a wank. There can only be one reason for such a concentrated amount of wank, he’s trying to impress a girl and get laid. No human can write that with a straight face.

    This gem from the comments:

I believe that it is imperative that it should always pay to be good. Otherwise what is the incentive to do the right thing!

To do the right thing of course, not every kitten you pet comes with a reward, get over it and do something useful. Christ where do these people come from.

And we on the right are the evil profit-seeking capitalists?

  6. Of the Bosler, his prose seems to owe something to that of the Manolo. Without the wit, of course.

  7. Of answers there are many.

I don’t want to be picky, but that’s a poetic grammatical inversion of an ungrammatical sentence, There are many of answers.

He wants to start from There are many answers.

Its inversion is Answers there are many.

If you want many, lose the preposition.

He could use instead a lot or plenty.

Of answers there are a lot.  I like that one.

  10. The Bosler Decoder is really just a fancy typewriter that was standard issue in Texas Air National Guard offices in the early 1970’s.

  11. Why? - beats me, go ask yer Dad

    Q: Why we ask…‘why?’

    A: We need to know…why.

    “Why?” they ask.

“Alive or dead, we just need to know.”

And once known, the deeper question, the deeper need comes forth. “Why?”

Of answers there are many.  Varied.  Of the question there is but one.  And we all share it, side by side.

We all ask why.  And in this, at the very least, we remain magnificent as one.

  12. The ‘Bosler decoder’ is an urban legend. It’s actually a Photoshopped pic of a nuclear submarine control panel in the Smithsonian.

    Snopes has the details.

You’re right, Gamer. You could only spurt that out with a straight dick and a brain in neutral.

Pixie’s inane asylum looks like the right place for sure.

Maybe this is so obvious that nobody mentioned it, but it seems that Bosler is talking about vomit (“gut-given substance”). Bosler seems to say that Margo’s Webdiary is bubbling over with vomit.

I recall a Q&A on a past thread here regarding ways in which a right-wing man may both remain honest and seduce a left-wing woman. The simplest explanation is that Bosler learned from it and is in fact a sound and sensible conservative in moonbat clothing. It’s up to him now to prove he isn’t. I don’t think he can.
