> In certain other primitive tribal communities, it’s considered a grievous insult if you use the word “Democrat” instead of “Democratic.”
I think you are supposed to call them by their official nickname, the “Jackass Party”
(And if you think that is unfair, a few years ago, someone in the DNC thought it cute to name their official blog “Kickin’ Ass”
’In certain other primitive tribal communities, it’s considered a grievous insult if you use the word “Democrat” instead of “Democratic.”’
Yes, this is why I ALWAYS refer to that group as the “Democrat Party”.
It drives them batshit.

“Mexican anger over US ‘trespass’”
“Many Mexicans see the border barrier as offensive Mexico’s parliament has condemned what it says is a border violation by US workers building a controversial barrier between the two countries.
Legislators say workers and equipment building a section of the barrier have gone 10 metres (yards) into Mexico...”Apparently this is not an attempt at irony.

Posted by wronwright on 2007 02 23 at 04:18 PM • permalinkYes, this is why I ALWAYS refer to that group as the “Democrat Party”.
And along those lines, I sometimes call them “Democratics”.
Posted by Kyda Sylvester on 2007 02 23 at 04:39 PM • permalinkI call them the Democraps, same as the idiots here.
Posted by Nilknarf Arbed on 2007 02 23 at 05:16 PM • permalinkThe BBC’s John Ngahyoma in Dar es Salaam says not many people actually believe that the demon exists and there have been no sightings.
Now, what’s wrong with this sentence (and no, I’m not talking grammar here.)The story goes that the bat is able to transform itself into a man at night and it has also been blamed for rapes of women.
So the men sleep outside? Away from their women? The pig’s oil thing sounds good. It would certainly repel me if I were “Popo Bawa”. I take it that these people aren’t Muslims.
Please people, the proper pronunciation is Democraps.
"Men in parts of Tanzania’s main city, Dar es Salaam, are living in fear of a night-time sex attacker.”
That was the story of my life too…
...then I got married.
Posted by Dave Surls on 2007 02 23 at 11:27 PM • permalink"People in Dar es Salaam are smearing themselves in pig’s oil?”
Don’t knock it. I can pretty much guarantee that no demons will want to have sex with you if you’re drenched in pig oil.
But, be warned...it drives the boars wild.

For shame, Mr Blair! You neglected to include this news brieflet, which synchs in nicely with the RWDB take on Mr Branson’s prize-offer…
