  2. A quick phone call to Keyser Trad confirmed my first impression: upon inverting this photograph one can clearly see the word “Allah” in Arabic script. It is therefore unallowable.

  4. It’s not determinative, but the reflection of sky in the puddle doesn’t match any of the skyline above it, that I can see.

The puddle sees a slightly different view than the camera, is why it’s not determinative, but it doesn’t seem even close.

  13. You can tell none of these people have been down that road.

The tyre marks would have shown vehicles repeatedly backing up over the puddle.

  20. What a really great puddle.
Most puddles carelessly leave off Tasmania, but this is a really thoughtful puddle.

  29. NATION RIGHT OF CENTRE

That’s not as good a thing as it might sound.

The center today is where the irrationalists were not too long ago. With the current rate of drift toward the outer fringes, in another 50 years or so, the “radical right” will be communist party commissars and the center will be a collection of droolers confined to “collective living” in institutions. The radical left will be the raving savages that draw “centrists” out from their asylums in a steady stream to sacrifice them in bloody violent ceremonies to what ever neo-paganist “god” that the current cult of personality has declared most trendy.

  30. Well, if Tasmania did have a Brazillian it would be a good idea, because it would look like Bass Strait.

Queensland is dodgy because they go tropo sometimes.
