Odd he doesn’t remember the little incident that lead to the “break up” given that he was one of the participants.

We ought to put them - tied- in a vat filled with pig’s blood and a dripping corpse of several pigs hanging above them- just to highlight their condition. General Perishing did something similar in the Philippines and that tactic put an end to the Muslim rebellion.

Son <comes running in from play with neighbour kids>: Quick! Give me the keys to daddy’s tool shed; I’m going to make a sword and chop them up!
Me; Why are you angry?
Son: because they said mean things about me!
Me: So, how will chopping them up solve the problem and make them like you?
Son: because it will! <sulk>
In TIME’s defense, I am sure Andrew Sullivan will come up with a good reason why we are no better - us damned oil guzzling torture *$%#‘s.

The other choice would have been, “Just how stupid do you think we are?” but I’m pretty sure the “reporter” knew the answer to that would be, “Very.”
