MAN FACES LEGAL BLAMING

CNN can’t seem to get a handle on this whole Sydney riots deal. It might help if they stopped taking copy from Reuters:

Cronulla’s mainly white beachside community burst into rioting on December 11 after surfers turned on ethnic Lebanese youth whom they blamed for a recent attack on beach lifeguards.

“Blamed” is Reuters-speak for “arrested and charged with assault.”

  1. From Punchbowl, an inland suburb of mainly Lebanese immigrants, Ahmad showed the text message: “All Arabs unite to let the Aussies know we can’t be pushed around."

Is it just me, or does that seem to indicate that the Leb...ummm, Arabs don’t consider themselves to be “Aussies”?

And, does anyone not laying on their left side really think they ever will?

  2. What do you expect from the media, Tim? They work on the KISS principle. Don’t confuse a good story with complicating facts. There’s a simple theme here that has world-wide appeal: evil white racists bash innocent ethnics, thereby confirming Australia is right up there with white South Africa ..., AND IT’S ALL JOHN HOWARD’S FAULT!

  3. Expect a visit from Mother Sheehan, followed by 200 CNN and other media whores framing photo ops, demanding an end to the occupation of this continent by “Aussies”. She will camp out in front of Howard’s residence waving “Free Palestine” signs.

  4. When are we going to see some arrests from the convoy of Lebs who trashed Maroubra? When are we going to see the source of the problem, Lakemba, et al. in lockdown mode? Is Iemma the Dhimmi too afraid of his own electorate to do the right thing? (And was that a dumb rhetorical question that doesnt even merit an answer?) When is the Lebenese community going to suffer the same inconveniences and business losses as the eastern/southern beach suburbs?

I want to know. The cops have arrested ‘white supremicists’, I want to hear about Arab supremicists (oh, excuse me, that should be ‘Lions of Lebanon’, shouldnt it?) being arrested and charged. I want the real criminals from the Leb community hunted down and arrested. Until this happens, I dont want to hear bs about anti-racism marches in the sun, I dont want to hear about how there is ‘racism on both sides’ - yeah, except one side feels it necessary to take two hour car trips to the territory of those nasty white Aussie racists. Dont see any traffic going the other way.

I’m a typical citizen of Sydney, who works and pays taxes instead of bludging on the dole, this is what I want. If the ‘authorities’ and the MSM think they’re fooling anyone by their less-than-honest reporting, think again. Everyone in Sydney knows the history of this situation, everyone is aware of the cowardly traitors in the ALP who let it happen and the dhimmi media who supported them.

Proud of your achievements lefties? Bet you are. And here’s hoping the people who let this happen are on the wrong side of a Leb attack one day. Let them reap the consequences of their action, cos we sure as hell have been forced to reap the consequences of their treachery and idiocy.

  5. Perhaps we could have a National Sorry Day, and say sorry to all Moslem Lebs, aborigines, old growth forests, gay whales, the environment (for not signing Kyoto), and any other disaffected group. Set up an organising commttee now, comprising the usual suspects: Donna Mulhearn, Bob Brown, Kerry Nettle, Natasha S-J, various student leaders, union hacks, millionaire lefty journos, etc, with assorted pulpit pimps, led by Sheik Hilaly, as spiritual advisers and comforters.

Why not take this further: let’s have a National Whipping Day where a representative group of white, blond, Cronulla surfies are ritually flagellated with baseball bats, chains and machetes by a procession of Lakemba Shiites. Could become a valuable tourist attraction, as well as satisfying our need for endless self-abasement.

  6. Yes, blame Molotov coctails on Howard ...

Amir Ali Osmanagic, 18, from Dandenong in Victoria, faced Waverley Local Court today charged with affray and possessing an offensive implement with intent to commit an indictable offence. [...]
The court was told that [police] officers who boarded the bus found Osmanagic in possession of two bottles of petrol, a rail ticket from Liverpool, a bus ticket to north Bondi and a pamphlet which read: “Howard’s riots – how racist policies breed racist violence”.

Well, it’s technically correct.  The surfers blamed the youths… Uh, because they did it.

It’s like if I said ‘the human population of the planet Earth is greater than 1000’.  It’s 100% accurate.  Misleading and unhelpful, but 100% accurate.

  8. All the lefties were whinging endlessly when Howard was proposing his anti-terror legislation, but they seem awful quiet about the current crackdown.

Maybe they think its ok for people to bomb the Lucas Heights nuclear facility.

  9. Interesting news item tmciolek,

"Why did his friend need petrol from Liverpool when there are numerous petrol stations in the city?” Sen Const Scanlan asked.
    Halal petrol?

Actually this article had me reminiscing, as a former south-east surburbs boy one of my oldest memories of Dandy was the prominent fluro animated pig with a hammer set atop a hardware store, think of it as the Nylex clock of Dandy. Won’t hold my breath for that little piggy to make a reappearance.

That’s the “Dandy Ham” he didn’t have a hammer, he doffed his hat.

What’s more he is back! He’s now at the Dandenong Market. Brought back happy childhood memories.

  11. stats, I think you’re on to something.

Expect a visit from Mother Sheehan

If we could guarantee that Saint Sheehan appears at every single politically-charged event, then either no one else will show up, or a few dozen will show up but no one will care because, well, they’ll be y’know...Spanish.

    Brilliant!
