“JUST LIKE A MINI MALL”
It isn’t the guy’s name, and he isn’t a blues singer, but Flea Market Montgomery would be the finest handle for a blues musician ever.
That guy should get together with This guy... I saw this a few years back when I found myself inexplicably watching TV at 2 in the morning in Las Vegas. I wouldn’t ever be crazy enough to buy a car from this guy, but I imagine people watching TV at 2 in the morning in Vegas while drunk out of their skulls are a significant portion of this guy’s customer base…
Oh! Me me me! I got one!
This from an engineering chemistry class, the best name for a pubk band ever:
Caustic Soda.

People of Sydney, you’re doomed.Scientists predict that rainfall will fall by 40% by 2070, not only creating a massive water crisis, but producing double the number of bush fires.
Heat-related deaths would soar from a current average of 176 a year to 1,300.
Sydney would come to resemble the harsh, dry and inhospitable conditions of remote inland towns.
And lots more from this “balanced” BBC report which ends thus:
“Along with America, Australia has refused to sign the Kyoto Protocol, the only two major industrialised nations to do so.”
You gotta love that “along with America” bit.
it’s jesse jackson isn’t it?- the store manager should have told him not to eat the merchandise

If there are double the number of fires one year wouldn’t this mean there is a lot less stuff to burn the next year…and the next?
And heat related deaths to ‘soar’ to 1300…from memory about 10,000 died here in France a few years ago during a very short heat wave during summer. All of this warming but with less than 15% of European deaths? We’re a sunburnt country but not a dying one.
