<< SERIOUS IOWANS REQUIRE FISK ~ MAIN ~ TERROR BIRD BELIEVED EXECUTED >>

IT ALSO WORKS IF YOU CROSS YOUR FINGERS

The New York Times reports:

[Would-be hijacker Zacarias] Moussaoui said there were times when a Muslim can lie without being immoral: to reconcile Muslims, to answer ‘yes’ when a wife asks, ‘Am I beautiful?’ and to carry out jihad.

But it would be wrong to lie about anything important.

  1. It is also a sacred loophole to be fake but accurate.

( Or was that too obvious? )

PS: Hugh Hewitt, (the greatest of all talk show hosts!) pointedly mentions and lauds T.B. (in connection w/ his interview of Micheal Ware)

Does it for me…let’s just say we release this nut, then shoot him dead on the steps of the courthouse, for escape.

A lie, without being immoral, no?

  8. “Honey, does this burka make my butt look like a saddlebag full of oats?”

No religion requires an honest answer to that question. It’s a matter of refraining from giving offense. But to lie about, and to justify, wholesale murder? What kind of religion jusitifies that sort of attitude? Only one that I can think of.

Oh no he’s not.  Lying to infidels (ie subhumans) without feeling guilt is a cornerstone of the Islamic psyche.

‘Darling, the Koran says I am permitted to lie when asked that question, so, no, not even a little bit, at all.’

  11. That sounds more like a Shi’a doctrine than a Sunni one.  Since they mostly lived among the Sunni majority who were inclined to kill them if they found out their neighbors were Shi’a the Shi’a developed the idea of taqqiya, in which it is permitted, even admirable, to lie about their religious beliefs in order to avoid being killed.  Here you see the effect of the fabled tolerance of Muslims.

  12. Fortunately most islamists have given up taqiya and now openly call for the destuction of western society. Hopefully we will start believing them soon?

  13. Taqqiya (deception) is supposed to be used only in a war situation - this is what the apologists will say. But Islam is in a permanent war situation with the West and with the infidels. There are no specific boundaries on just what and how ‘war’ and ‘jihad’ really are, only that it requires a lot of human sacrifice to appease Allah. So we often hear Taqqiya about Taqqiya.

  15. ‘Cognitive dissonance’ is right. I make a point of asking ‘Islam-is-a-religion-of-peace’ believers why they do not *believe*  the dozens of Islamic imans, ‘spokesmen’, politicians, dictators and terrorists who state clearly and publically that their aim is to destroy our culture and impose their beliefs upon us - one way or another.

Strangely, I have never once received an answer to this question.

  22. So, if I am a Muslim, I am ethically allowed to lie. Morally, I can lie to cover my ass and during a time of war.  Thus the odds are that I’m either giving disinformation or I’m flattering you to cover up how I really think.  Of course, you’ll never really know when I’m lying, will you; you’ll never know when I’m telling you the truth, either.

If this is how it is, I say we ought to stop listening to anything they have to say and go by their behavior.  Actions speak louder than words.  Literally.  They threaten life and limb and head, and then follow through with a Van Gogh here and a Tom Fox there.  At least we know we can believe their threats.

I can’t see how that makes his Islamic moral standard any difference than those of his defense attorneys who claim that he never intended to hurt anyone, just a mixed up kid. Crikey. Toast the monster and his attorneys!

  27. Have Muslims created secret codes/languages handshakes like the some Christian, Jewish, and pagan schools do?

Poor public school teachers, only getting a 12 percent pay rise in 3 years. They don’t deserve it when all they can impart is political correctness and not the secret languages of religions that filter into society.
