With a headline of “The West fights a losing battle”, I have to wonder if the staff at the Age has started to follow Sharia Law….just in case, y’know? Certainly the reporter (Angela O’Connor) should look at getting fitted for a burqa.

The Australian Arabic Council’s Roland Jabbour “condemned the London bombings as inexcusable but…” then goes on to sort of justify it.
While the Islamic Council of Victoria’s Waleed Aly unequivocally condemns the attack, adding “the community would be vigilant about any backlash against Muslims in Victoria. But we are not the victims here.”
I don’t know these men, so I don’t know what they’re really thinking and what their respective agendas may be. But it’s not often you hear a Muslim leader concede that non-Muslim recipients of explosive discharges are actually genuine victims. Maybe this sort of stating of the bleedin’ obvious is a small step forward.
Thank God we’re terrorist targets. Because if we weren’t, we’d be at best neutrals, at worst supporters, of the Islamofascisti.
The judgement of history has not been kind to those who sat on the fence in the little fracas called WW II. Sweden. Switzerland. Eire. They were weighed in the balance, and were found wonting. Compare Denmark’s resistance with France’s lack thereof (despite some truly heroic stands after the battle was lost).
When the history of the early 21st century gets written, Australia will have something to be proud of, as a contributor that pulled more than it’s own weight in the defeat of the Fascist Caliphate.

Sounds like someone needs to do some digging into the Australian Arabic Council. They seem to be claiming inside knowledge on terrorist planning.
